NON-MOTORIZED RETRACTABLE ROOF COMPONENT
A non-motorized panoramic retractable hard panel roof, desirable for most sport vehicle owners is disclosed. A manually operated, rear retractable hard panel roof assembly is capable of being manually opened and closed without a need to leave the driver compartment. The present design is a semi-permanent driver compartment enclosure, easy to install and remove by the driver without requiring any outside assistance, and one that can easily be modified from the factory roof panels to the configuration of the present invention, as well as being easily changed back to the original configuration from the factory. Because it is semi-permanent, the roof panel does not need to be removed, thereby alleviating any need to store the panel away from the vehicle. The present retractable assembly can easily be attached to the vehicle without interrupting any of the original functionality of the vehicle, and without the need for any special tools. By relatively simple attachments, the roof panel assembly may be used to attach it to the vehicle without any need to modify the original factory vehicle roof.
Quick release system for a vehicle hard top
A quick release system for a vehicle cover includes a housing and a locking member received within the housing, the locking member including a keyhole opening and a biasing mechanism. The biasing mechanism biases the locking member to a first, locked position within the housing whereby a locking pin received though the keyhole opening cannot be removed via an axial force exerted on the locking pin. The locking member is movable against the bias of the biasing mechanism to a second, clearance position whereby the locking pin can be withdrawn from the locking member.
PANEL SYSTEM FOR TRUCK BOX
A panel system attached to a truck box is provided. The system has a pair of side panels attached to the truck box and moveable between an extended position above the truck box and a stowed position within the truck box. The system also has a rear panel associated with the pair of side panels. The rear panel is configured to retain the pair of side panels in the extended position. The pair of side panels is configured to retain the rear panel in the stowed position. The system may carry more cargo and be easy to install and use.
VEHICLE TOP LATCH AND SEAL ASSEMBLY
A vehicle top latch and seal assembly system, comprising: a vehicle top portion having a back portion, front portion, left portion and right portion; a back left L-latch attached to the back portion; a back right L-latch attached to the back portion; a front left L-latch attached to the front portion; a front right L-latch attached to the front portion; a left side windshield latch; and a right side windshield latch. The left side windshield latch and the right side windshield latch may each have a raised spacer, three screws running through and attaching the raised spacer to the vehicle top portion, a latch cushioning rubber and a latch handle with an open position and a closed position. There may be foam spacers and T-knob assemblies in communication with portions of the vehicle top portion.
Cover assembly with lock mechanism
A cover assembly for covering a bed of a vehicle has a first panel fixedly attached to a bed of the vehicle and at least one movable panel adapted to pivot between an open position and a folded position. The cover assembly also includes a pair of rails attached to a pair of sidewalls of the vehicle. Each rail includes a first portion engaged with a sidewall and a second portion defining a catch therebetween. The cover assembly also includes a lock assembly for locking the movable panel in the open position. The lock assembly includes a lock member adapted to move between a lock position and an unlock position. In the lock position, the lock member is engaged with the catch and locks the movable panel in the open position. In the unlock position, the lock member is arranged away from the catch.
Powered cargo cover for vehicle
A two piece cursor for use with an opening and closing mechanism for a powered cargo cover of a vehicle. The two piece cursor having: a main body portion; and a nozzle portion, wherein the nozzle portion is removably secured to the main body portion.
Retractable truck bed cover having slat array with flexible joiner members and shielded seams
A retractable truck bed cover having an array of parallel aluminum slats joined together by connective hinges including leading and trailing edge configuration for improving the security of the cover by covering and concealing the seam between adjacent slats while improving the connective hinge's resistance to the effects of aging and/or exposure to temperature fluctuations. The truck bed cover connective hinge slat is designed to be in an array of discrete slats, which are joined to one another by means of joiner members secured at each end to slat end caps. The distal ends of the joiner members are attached to slat end caps at the distal ends of the slats, thereby preventing the joiner members from shrinking in relationship to the slats due to aging and I or exposure to temperature fluctuations.
Multi-hinge tonneau cover
A tonneau cover comprising: (a) a first panel and a second panel; (b) a hinge located between and connecting the first panel and the second panel; and (c) a cover extending over all or a portion of the first panel, the second panel, or both, and the hinge so that, when the first panel or the second panel rotates about the hinge, the cover forms a portion of the hinge and maintains the integrity of the hinge.
Tonneau Cover Having Secured Flexible Hinge
A tonneau cover apparatus for removable attachment to a cargo box of a pickup truck including a support frame assembly and a cover assembly. The cover assembly includes a plurality of pivotally interconnected rigid panels that can be folded up and secured to the cargo box such that respective upper surfaces of at least two of the plurality of rigid panels reside in an upright folded orientation. The tonneau cover apparatus further includes a mechanism for securing the at least two of the plurality of rigid panels in the upright folded orientation. A method of removably securing the tonneau cover apparatus to the pickup truck is also described, as is an alternate embodiment of the tonneau cover apparatus, wherein the cover assembly includes first and second pivotally interconnected rigid panels and a pair of hinge support mechanisms that generally restrict the way the second rigid panel pivots.
TONNEAU SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A PICKUP TRUCK
A tonneau system for use with a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a frame and a tonneau cover having a plurality of tonneau sections moveable between a folded position and an unfolded position. The tonneau cover includes solar energy-receiving material secured to a top exposed surface of at least two of the tonneau sections. The solar energy-receiving material moves with their corresponding tonneau sections between the unfolded and folded positions. A battery, transformer, and/or electrical cabling system may be included within the circuit for power storage and conversion.
