PICKUP TRUCK BED COVERING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a cover for protecting the contents of the bed of a pickup truck. In some examples, the cover is designed for use in any standard pickup truck without the need for after-market modifications to the truck. In some examples, the truck bed cover comprises a panel system that is easily installed using the existing stake holes of the truck. In some further examples, the cover includes ability to convert the panels to sidewalls to protect taller cargo. In still further examples, the cover includes retaining cables, support bars, moisture protection, and a locking mechanism.
LATCH SYSTEM FOR PICKUP BED TONNEAU COVER
A latch assembly for clamping a pickup truck cover to a truck bed is disclosed. The assembly includes a base mount fixed to the cover side rail, a cam assembly having first and second cam surfaces, and a handle assembly rotatably attached to the mount. The handle assembly is movable between stowed and clamping positions and includes a lever rotatably mounted to the mount, a grip slidably mounted on the lever, and a pivotable locking arm associated with the cam surfaces. The arm includes a grip for clamping against the bed. The first cam surface has a stowing cam profile for moving the arm to its stowed position. The second cam surface has a locking cam profile for moving the arm to its clamping position. The arm includes a follower for engagement with the cam surfaces. The base mount includes a grip-engaging feature. The grip includes a base mount-engaging feature.
FLUID TRANSFER DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
Fluid transfer systems are disclosed that can be configured to transfer precise amounts of fluid from a source container to a target container. The fluid transfer system can have multiple fluid transfer stations for transferring fluids into multiple target containers or for combining different types of fluids into a single target container to form a mixture. The fluid transfer system can include a pump and a destination sensor, such as a weight sensor. The fluid transfer system can be configured to flush remaining fluid out of a connector to reduce waste, using air or a flushing fluid.
Tonneau cover system having a latch
A tonneau cover system for a vehicle having a cargo box includes a striker which is adapted to be fixed to the cargo box along with a cover disposed over the cargo box when the cover is in a closed position. Moreover, the cover includes a latch mounted to the frame. The latch engages the striker when the cover is in the closed position. The cover further includes a link which extends from the latch along the frame and a handle coupled to the latch in order to move the latch into a released position which disengages the striker. Finally, the cover includes a coupler which is coupled to the handle. The coupler moves from a first position to a second position and responds to movement of the handle with the link moving relative to the frame in order to facilitate movement of the latch into the released position.
TONNEAU COVER WITH TORSION ELEMENT
A tonneau cover that includes a first panel, a second panel, a hinge between the first panel and the second panel, and a torsion element between the first panel and the second panel. The torsion element applies an urging force onto one or both of the first panel and the second panel during movement of the first panel and/or the second panel about the hinge.
TONNEAU COVER SYSTEM WITH CAM LOCKING PROP-ROD
A cover includes multiple panels pivotally connected together and foldable between a stacked arrangement and a deployed arrangement. Side rails are attachable to opposite sides of the cargo box and include ledges. The stack can be rotated between an intermediate position and an upward position in which the stack extends above the plane with the upper surface of at least one section disposed at an angle intersecting the plane. A slidable member can slide along a side rail and support a cam lock mechanism moveable between locked and unlocked positions. A link arm can be coupled between the slidable member and the stack to require movement of the slidable member longitudinally along the side rail in response to movement of the stack between the intermediate position and the upward position.
TOP COMPARTMENT LID ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A LINK ASSEMBLY AND A LOCKING ASSEMBLY
A top compartment lid assembly of a convertible vehicle includes a lid element, a linkage assembly configured to displace the lid element between an open position and a closed position and comprising a lid link assembly on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane of the lid, each lid link assembly being mounted in a pivoting manner on a main bearing attached to a vehicle body, and a locking assembly on either side of the longitudinal center plane of the lid, each locking assembly being configured to be moved between a locked position and an unlocked position by a locking link assembly. An electric motor is mounted on each of the bilaterally disposed main bearings, each electric motor driving both the respective lid link assembly and the respective locking link assembly via a drive pinion.
HINGES FOR HARDTOP VEHICLE COVERS
A set of hinges (1) that allow a user to open and close a set of removable rigid rooftop panels (5, 6) for a vehicle having a hardtop cover, such as a Jeep or sport utility vehicle, without being required to fully remove and store the rigid roof panels. The hinges may be locked in an open position using one or more hasps (24) integrated into the hinges.
ROOF STRUCTURE FOR TARGA TOP VEHICLE
In a Targa top vehicle, a detachable roof unit is supported between a front roof arch along an upper edge of a front windshield and a rear roof arch along an upper edge of a rear windshield. The roof unit is fixed to the front roof arch and the rear roof arch by engaging an axially movable front fixing pin with a pin hole of the front roof arch and engaging an axially movable rear fixing pin with a pin hole of the rear roof arch, and an opening formed in a central part of the roof unit is opened and closed by a canvas that can be unfolded and folded. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a balance between an open feel of the Targa top vehicle and convenience of simply opening and closing the opening of a roof.
Tonneau Cover
A pickup truck having a tonneau cover is provided. The tonneau cover includes a first panel section pivotable with respect to the opposing first and second upward-extending side walls. A first latching assembly is attached to the first panel section and is configured to selectively secure and release the first panel section with respect to the first and second side walls of the pickup truck. The first latching assembly includes first and second pinch latch assemblies. The first pinch latch assembly is located adjacent the first upward-extending side wall of the pickup truck and the second pinch latch assembly is located adjacent the second upward-extending side wall of the pickup truck.
