Roof-attachment system and method
A roof-attachment system and method for attaching a glass roof to the bodyshell of a motor vehicle, having a foam surround and having an adhesive, which, for the purpose of fastening the glass roof on the bodyshell in a materially bonded manner, is connected firstly to the glass roof, secondly to the foam surround and thirdly to the bodyshell. At an interface between the glass roof, the foam surround, and the adhesive, a step between the adhesive and the foam surround is provided with a chamfer.

SEALING PLUGS
A sealing plug (100) for a panel opening, the plug having an axis (132) and including a head portion (110) having a first diameter larger than of the panel opening and a leg portion (120) concentric to the head portion (110) and having a second diameter shorter than the first diameter, the leg includes at least two latches (130) extending radially towards the head portion (110), and wherein the passing of the leg portion (120) and the at least two latches (130) through the panel opening causes resilient deformation of each latch (130), such that each latch (130) deforms and recovers thereby causing the panel to be retained by the at least two latches (130) and between the at least two latches (130) and the head portion (110) of the plug (100).

Weather strip
A weather strip includes a welt portion, which is configured to be attached to a peripheral edge of an opening of a main body member, a sealing portion connected to the welt portion. The sealing portion includes a contact surface, which is configured to contact an opening-closing member that opens or closes the opening, and is configured to seal the boundary between the main body member and the opening-closing member. The sealing portion has a hollow or enclosed gel. A transverse groove is provided on the outer peripheral surface except for the contact surface. The transverse groove extends along a direction from the welt toward the sealing portion.

Weatherstrip assembly and method of isolating dissimilar metals in the weatherstrip assembly
A weatherstrip assembly includes a body having a carrier or core formed from a first metal for providing strength and rigidity to the body. A show surface of the weatherstrip assembly is formed of a second metal different than the first metal. The second metal acts as the show surface of the weatherstrip assembly. An isolative, electrically low conductivity layer is received only on portions of the first metal that are disposed adjacent to portions of the second metal and potentially subject to electrical contact therebetween.
