A door for a vehicle includes an outer panel and an inner panel connected to the outer panel. The door includes a window opening defined by the outer panel and the inner panel. A glass panel is supported between the outer panel and the inner panel at the window opening. The glass panel includes an inner glass surface and an outer glass surface. A molding support member extends outwardly relative to the inner panel substantially perpendicularly to the glass panel. A molding element connected to the molding support member. The molding element includes an outer surface. The molding support member positions the molding element relative to the glass panel creating an offset between the outer surface of the molding element relative to the outer glass surface of no more than 10 mm.

Vehicle frunk assemblies

A vehicle frunk assembly is provided. The vehicle frunk includes a frunk housing having a bottom wall and a side wall having an interior surface and an opposite exterior surface. The interior surface of the side wall and the bottom wall define a storage space. The vehicle frunk includes a hood moveable between an open position and a closed position. The hood has a hood inner panel. The vehicle frunk includes a sealing flange extending outwardly from the hood inner panel, and the sealing flange has an inner surface and an outer surface. The sealing flange is configured to bound at least a portion of the side wall such that the inner surface of the sealing flange faces the exterior surface of the side wall to form a seal between the hood and the frunk housing when the hood is in the closed position.

Vehicle frunk assemblies

A vehicle frunk assembly is provided. The vehicle frunk includes a frunk housing having a bottom wall and a side wall having an interior surface and an opposite exterior surface. The interior surface of the side wall and the bottom wall define a storage space. The vehicle frunk includes a hood moveable between an open position and a closed position. The hood has a hood inner panel. The vehicle frunk includes a sealing flange extending outwardly from the hood inner panel, and the sealing flange has an inner surface and an outer surface. The sealing flange is configured to bound at least a portion of the side wall such that the inner surface of the sealing flange faces the exterior surface of the side wall to form a seal between the hood and the frunk housing when the hood is in the closed position.
