WEATHER SEAL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SUNROOF
A weather seal system is provided for sealing a perimeter of a vehicle sunroof. The system includes a mounting base having an outboard first channel, and an inboard second channel spaced apart from, and extending generally parallel to, the outboard first channel. At least two connecting portions are positioned between and connecting the first and second channels. A spine is supported by the at least two connecting portions so as to reside above the first and second channels when the mounting base is mounted on a vehicle. The spine extends generally parallel to the outboard first channel. At least a first and a second opposed weather strip retention projections extend from respective opposite first and second sides of the spine. A weather strip is structured to engage the opposed first and second weather strip retention projections so as to secure the weather strip to the spine.

Motor vehicle side door and method for mounting the same
A motor vehicle side door includes a glass panel, a frame, and an elastomer run seal. The elastomer run seal includes at least one protruding rib that is located and dimensioned so as to be able to come into abutment against a free end of an inner wall of the frame when the at least one ascending strand is in a preliminary mounting position on the frame, and to be able to come into abutment against an inner wall of the frame when the at least one ascending strand is in a final mounting position on the frame, a gap between both inner and outer walls having a size which is higher when the run seal is in the preliminary mounting position than when it is in the final mounting position.

DOOR HOLE CAP AND SEALING MEMBER
A door hole cap and a sealing member are provided which make it possible to both maintain water stopping performance of a door hole cap and reduce manufacturing costs. The door hole cap includes: a capping member having a groove that is recessed toward an inside of a vehicle; and a sealing member to be attached to the groove. The groove is formed along an entire perimeter of a first peripheral part. The sealing member includes: a main body section to be inserted into the groove; a first sealing section which extends from the main body section and which abuts on a door inner panel; and a groove touch section which extends from the main body section toward an inner surface of the groove and which abuts on the inner surface.
SEALING APPARATUS FOR A LATERALLY-SLIDING DOOR
Disclosed embodiments include seals, vehicles, and methods for providing a seal for a door that is configured to travel laterally relative to a door opening. In an illustrative embodiment, a seal assembly includes first and second upper and lower lateral seals configured to seal outer and inner surfaces of the upper and lower edges of the door, respectively, as the door laterally moved into a closed position. The seal includes first and second front and rear transverse seals configured to seal the outer and the inner surfaces of the front and rear edges of the door, respectively, in response to the door laterally moving into the closed position.

Below Belt Seal Assembly, Associated Window Sealing System, And Method For Manufacturing Same
A below belt seal assembly for use in a window seal assembly for a vehicle includes an extruded strip of material extending in length between strip ends and having a base and first and second sides extending the base with each side having an engagement area and first and second lips extending outwardly from the engagement areas. A molding is formed about the base and each of the sides and terminates at the engagement areas of the sides such that the molding is spaced from the lips, with the molding forming at least one bracket bonded to the extruded strip. A fastener is attached to the bracket for facilitating mounting of the assembly to the vehicle. The window seal assembly also includes an upper glass run seal assembly comprising additional extruded strips of material and a second molding for bonding the below belt seal assembly to the upper glass run seal assembly.
