Vehicle roof structure
A vehicle roof structure has a roof panel and a roof side rail joined at a joint part that extends substantially in a vehicle body front-rear direction, and a recessed groove which opens to an upper side of the vehicle body and extends substantially along the vehicle body front-rear direction is provided in an upper part of the joint part. The roof side rail has a rail main part that is disposed on an outer side in a vehicle width direction of the roof panel across the joint part, and a rail extension part that extends forward from a front end part of the rail main part. The rail extension part is provided with a glass-receiving part that is disposed to be offset to the outer side in the vehicle width direction from the joint part when viewed from above, and receives the upper end side part of the windshield glass. The rail main part has a rail main face that forms the outer surface of the vehicle, and a shelf face that is provided in the front end part of the rail main face to be recessed downward, and to which a lower face of the side end part of the windshield upper molding abuts.
Assembly having two roof frame elements, roof frame and a vehicle roof of a motor vehicle
An assembly for a roof of a motor vehicle having two roof frame elements. The two roof frame elements are arranged in such a way relative to one another that a region of overlap is formed, in which the two roof frame elements overlap one another, a plastic jacket, which covers the region of overlap and seals off the region of overlap, wherein the following are formed along the region of overlap in a manner offset with respect to one another: a joining location, at which the two roof frame elements are connected to one another and which is covered by the plastic jacket to seal off the joining location, an adhesive bonding location, which is formed on an outer side of the plastic jacket, for the application of an adhesive.

COMPOSITE GLASS PANE WITH A BORDER SEAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A composite glass pane having a first glass pane, a second glass pane, and an intermediate layer arranged between the first and second glass panes is described. The intermediate layer includes one cover layer based on a thermoplastic polymer, and a border seal. The first glass pane is arranged with an offset relative to the second glass pane, the intermediate layer is cut back along at least one edge of the composite glass pane by a border distance, and the border seal is arranged in a border gap delimited by the first glass pane, the second glass pane and the intermediate layer. The border seal contains a polymer fusible with a polymer of the cover layers.
METHOD OF FORMING AN ARTICLE
Methods of forming an article from a molten plastic composition comprising a polymer and a blowing agent. The methods include injecting the molten plastic composition into a mould, allowing the plastic composition to form a first solid skin adjacent to an in contact with a first cavity-forming surface of the mould and a second solid skin adjacent to and in contact with a second cavity-forming surface of the mould, and then opening the mould before the molten plastic composition between the first and second solid skins in at least one portion of the circumference of a region of the mould cavity defining an annular cross-section of the cavity has solidified.

Roof arrangement for a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof having a roof opening
A roof arrangement for a vehicle roof with a movable roof element and underlying frame with a seal hose having a strand shaped seal profile having a drain lip extending below an uppermost web of the frame.
DOOR HOLE SEAL AND METHOD OF STACKING A PLURALITY OF DOOR HOLE SEALS
In a state in which a plurality of door hole seals are stacked on top of each other, the door hole seals are prevented from being bonded to each other without the need to use a release paper. Each of the door hole seals has a main body part and an adhesive part, wherein the main body part has a protrusion provided thereon at a position that is different from a position at which the adhesive part is arranged, and the protrusion has a height greater than a thickness of the adhesive part.

Vehicle Roof Cover Having a Frame Part
A cover for closing a vehicle surface opening is provided which has a frame part secured to the underside of the cover on one side at a frame part securing section by an application of plastic foam on the cover, and which contacts the underside of the cover on the other side at a free section of the frame part via at least one spacer. The frame part may also include at least one filling opening on the free section thereof for introducing a reactive plastic material forming the spacer, and the plastic material introduced through the filling opening into a gap between the free section of the frame part secured to the cover and the underside of the cover retains the free section of the frame on the underside of the cover in a positioned and/or fixed manner as a spacer after reacting or curing.
