OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE
An open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening in a fixed roof has a roof edge defining the roof opening and protruding in a downward direction. The open roof construction comprises a stationary part and at least one panel for at least closing the roof opening. The stationary part is provided with sealing assembly comprising a first seal part forming a seal towards the panel, and a second seal part capable of sealing the stationary part against the roof edge. The sealing assembly is provided with an attachment structure protruding from the first seal part and the second seal part and attaching the sealing assembly to the stationary part. A reinforcement member is integrated in the sealing assembly and extends at least between the first and second seal parts. The reinforcement member forms an integral part of the attachment structure of the sealing assembly.

An outer waist seal assembly for a vehicle including an exterior body panel, including: an elongate body structure adapted to be disposed about an edge of the exterior body panel and including an interior arm adapted to be disposed on an interior side of the exterior body panel and an exterior arm adapted to be disposed on an exterior side of the exterior body panel, the interior arm including a friction structure, lip, rail, channel, or hole disposed on or through an interior surface thereof; and a clip structure adapted to be secured in a slot or hole defined adjacent to the edge of the exterior body panel and engage the friction structure, lip, rail, channel, or hole disposed on or through the interior surface of the interior arm of the elongate body structure, thereby securing the elongate body structure to the exterior body panel.
WEATHERSTRIP
The weatherstrip includes a molded part formed from an elastic material and the molded part has an insert panel embedded therein. The molded part includes: a molded part through hole in which a clip for attaching the molded part to a vehicle body can be inserted; and a thinner portion provided in an outer peripheral portion of the molded part through hole and having a thickness smaller than that of other portions of the molded part in an area of the molded part where the insert panel is embedded in. The insert panel includes a clip through hole provided at a location corresponding to the molded part through hole and having a diameter larger than that of the molded part through hole; and a first additional through hole provided spaced from the clip through hole in an area corresponding to the thinner portion.

The assembly has a bearing profile having an upper wing extending above the upper wing of the support flange and a front lateral wing. A downwardly-open seat is formed between the support flange and the bearing profile. An external trimming profile is connected to the front lateral wing of the bearing profile. A sealing strip, mounted in the downwardly-open seat, has first and second lateral branches, respectively adjacent to the front lateral wing of the bearing profile and to the rear lateral wing of the support flange, and provided longitudinal sealing lips. An upper space of the bearing profile is adjacent to the downwardly-open seat.

Trimming and sealing assembly for an upper portion of a window frame of a motor vehicle door, the upper portion having a support flange having a sheet metal member having an upper wing and a rear lateral wing. The assembly has a bearing profile having an upper wing extending above the upper wing of the support flange and a front lateral wing. A downwardly-open seat is formed between the support flange and the bearing profile. An external trimming profile is connected to the front lateral wing of the bearing profile. A sealing strip, mounted in the downwardly-open seat, has first and second lateral branches, respectively adjacent to the front lateral wing of the bearing profile and to the rear lateral wing of the support flange, and provided longitudinal sealing lips. An upper space of the bearing profile is adjacent to the downwardly-open seat.
Mounting structure for doorframe molding
A mounting structure for a doorframe molding includes an upper edge part that defines an upper side of a window frame of a vehicle door. The mounting structure further includes an engaging part that includes a shaft part and a rib part extending from a lower end of the shaft part in a vehicle front-rear direction or a vehicle width direction, a body part of the doorframe molding, and a bracket that projects from the body part and is engaged with the engaging part. The bracket has a cut-out part that is made by cutting out the bracket. The shaft part is inserted into the cut-out part, and a peripheral part of the cut-out part is engaged with the rib part.

A mounting structure for a doorframe molding includes an upper edge part that defines an upper side of a window frame of a vehicle door. The mounting structure further includes an engaging part that includes a shaft part and a rib part extending from a lower end of the shaft part in a vehicle front-rear direction or a vehicle width direction, a body part of the doorframe molding, and a bracket that projects from the body part and is engaged with the engaging part. The bracket has a cut-out part that is made by cutting out the bracket. The shaft part is inserted into the cut-out part, and a peripheral part of the cut-out part is engaged with the rib part.

Provided is a door structure including: a door installed capable of opening and closing a door opening part of a vehicle body; a decorative member attached to a surface of the door which faces an outside of a vehicle; and a sealing member arranged along an end part of the door which faces an outside of the door, and sealing the door opening part, wherein the sealing member includes a thick part which becomes thicker toward an inside of the door, and which is inserted into a gap formed between the end part of the door which faces the outside of the door and an end part of the decorative member which faces the outside of the door, and the sealing member is biased toward an inside of the vehicle.
