SEALING ARRANGEMENT FOR GUIDING AND SEALING A VERTICALLY MOVABLE VEHICLE WINDOW PANE
A sealing arrangement for guiding and sealing a vertically movable vehicle window pane, having a plurality of strand components, which can be interlockingly and/or frictionally connected to each other and to the vehicle body, wherein the strand components include a strand component made of plastic, which extends along an upper edge of the vehicle window pane when the vehicle window is closed. The strand component made of plastic has a stopping element for locking the plastic strand component in the longitudinal direction of the strand during assembly of the sealing arrangement on the vehicle body. The stopping element preferably includes at least one journal element, protruding from a longitudinal side of the plastic strand component, for engaging in an opening in the vehicle body.
Co-extruded U-channel with integrated glassrun
A glassrun or weatherseal assembly includes a generally rigid channel having first and second legs joined by an interconnecting leg. First and second seal portions extend into a portion of the channel cavity and are adapted to seal against an associated vehicle window. A door frame assembly includes a first or inner door panel and second or outer door panel having end portions spaced apart by a dimension adapted to receive the channel. The channel can be secured to the door frame assembly in a variety of different manners including an adhesive/chemical bond, snap-fit fastener, rivet, clip, adhesive tape, or combinations of one or more of these securing mechanisms.

Glass run for automobile door
An outer side wall includes a bent sealing portion bent so as to be raised toward the inside of a cabin. When a window glass is closed, the bent sealing portion is elastically deformed so as to stretch along the outer surface of the window glass. The outer surface of the bent sealing portion is provided with a soft portion made of a softer material than the outer side wall.

Method for storing molding and retaining member
An inner molding is stored by retaining at least a curved portion of the inner molding by a retaining member in a state where a shape of at least the curved portion of the inner molding is maintained. The inner molding is retained by fitting at least a curved portion of an attachment portion of the inner molding into an attachment portion groove of the retaining member so that an outer surface of a first horizontal wall of the attachment portion abuts against a first inner wall surface of the attachment portion groove and an outer surface of a second horizontal wall of the attachment portion abuts against a second inner wall surface of the attachment portion groove.

ENCAPSULATED FIXED WINDOW MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An encapsulated fixed window module for a motor vehicle, comprising: a fixed window pane having an exterior surface, an interior surface, and a peripheral edge extending between the exterior and interior surfaces; at least one trim strip extending along at least a portion of the peripheral edge, the trim strip comprising a first longitudinal profile which is U-shaped in cross section and which has an exterior wall, an interior wall, and a lateral wall connecting the exterior and interior walls, the first profile defining a longitudinal groove configured to receive a guiding mean carried by a movable window pane, wherein the exterior wall of the first profile faces the interior surface and is secured thereto by an over-molded material which does not cover the peripheral edge along the first profile, and wherein the exterior wall has a longitudinal edge which is opposite to the lateral wall and which is substantially aligned with the peripheral edge in a plane that is perpendicular to the fixed window pane.
Vehicular window trim assembly and decorative molding assembly for vehicle door frame
A vehicular window trim assembly includes a decorative outer trim member and first and second channel members fixedly connected together at overlapping portions of the channel members to form an inverted, U-shaped retainer to receive and retain a window seal. A central portion of the retainer is formed by the overlapping portions. A first leg portion of the retainer is formed by the first channel member and a second leg portion of the retainer is formed by the second channel member. Each of the channel members is integrally molded to form a unitary construction.
