ROOF SYSTEM HAVING A WIND DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY
A roof system for a vehicle comprises a wind deflector member including a wind deflector body which extends in a transverse direction of the vehicle that is movable between a retracted position below a fixed roof and an extended position at least partly above the fixed roof. Wind deflector arms at the lateral ends of the wind deflector body extend substantially in a rearward direction and are at least rotatably connected to a stationary part. A sealing arrangement comprises a first seal is positioned between the wind deflector body and a panel that seals a gap between an the wind deflector body and the panel in its closed position. The first seal is configured to close a gap between the wind deflector arms and the panel. A second seal is closes a gap between the wind deflector member and the stationary part when the panel is in its closed position.
Roof arrangement for a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof, with a roof opening
Vehicle roof arrangement with a movable roof element held by a frame for selectively closing a roof opening. The roof element may have a first strand-like seal profile and a second strand-like seal profile, which is formed separately from the first seal profile. The first seal profile is configured for sealing with respect to the movable roof element and can be fastened to the vehicle roof, and the second seal profile can be fastened to the frame by a plug connection and is configured for sealing between the frame and the vehicle roof. The plug connection may have a plug-in region of the frame, into which plug-in region a projection of the second seal profile may be plugged.
Roof arrangement for a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof, with a roof opening
Vehicle roof arrangement with a movable roof element held by a frame for selectively closing a roof opening. The roof element may have a first strand-like seal profile and a second strand-like seal profile, which is formed separately from the first seal profile. The first seal profile is configured for sealing with respect to the movable roof element and can be fastened to the vehicle roof, and the second seal profile can be fastened to the frame by a plug connection and is configured for sealing between the frame and the vehicle roof. The plug connection may have a plug-in region of the frame, into which plug-in region a projection of the second seal profile may be plugged.
VEHICLE TOP LATCH AND SEAL ASSEMBLY
A vehicle top latch and seal assembly system, comprising: a vehicle top portion having a back portion, front portion, left portion and right portion; a back left L-latch attached to the back portion; a back right L-latch attached to the back portion; a front left L-latch attached to the front portion; a front right L-latch attached to the front portion; a left side windshield latch; and a right side windshield latch. The left side windshield latch and the right side windshield latch may each have a raised spacer, three screws running through and attaching the raised spacer to the vehicle top portion, a latch cushioning rubber and a latch handle with an open position and a closed position. There may be foam spacers and T-knob assemblies in communication with portions of the vehicle top portion.
VEHICLE TOP LATCH AND SEAL ASSEMBLY
A vehicle top latch and seal assembly system, comprising: a vehicle top portion having a back portion, front portion, left portion and right portion; a back left L-latch attached to the back portion; a back right L-latch attached to the back portion; a front left L-latch attached to the front portion; a front right L-latch attached to the front portion; a left side windshield latch; and a right side windshield latch. The left side windshield latch and the right side windshield latch may each have a raised spacer, three screws running through and attaching the raised spacer to the vehicle top portion, a latch cushioning rubber and a latch handle with an open position and a closed position. There may be foam spacers and T-knob assemblies in communication with portions of the vehicle top portion.

A roof rail assembly for a motor vehicle having an open frame vehicle architecture includes a side air curtain fixedly coupled with an elongated hollow sport tube extending along a longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle. The sport tube comprises a two-piece multi-gage tube extending along a longitudinal length of an occupant compartment of the motor vehicle. The side airbag curtain is fixedly coupled with the sport tube, the side airbag curtain having a stowed condition and an inflated condition. An integrated seal carrier is fixedly coupled with the sport tube and extends laterally outboard of the motor vehicle, the integrated seal carrier comprising a removable roof sealing member and a removable door window seal, wherein the removable roof sealing member and a removable door window seal are independent of one another.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening in a fixed roof has a roof edge defining the roof opening and protruding in a downward direction. The open roof construction comprises a stationary part and at least one panel for at least closing the roof opening. The stationary part is provided with sealing assembly comprising a first seal part forming a seal towards the panel, and a second seal part capable of sealing the stationary part against the roof edge. The sealing assembly is provided with an attachment structure protruding from the first seal part and the second seal part and attaching the sealing assembly to the stationary part. A reinforcement member is integrated in the sealing assembly and extends at least between the first and second seal parts. The reinforcement member forms an integral part of the attachment structure of the sealing assembly.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening in a fixed roof has a roof edge defining the roof opening and protruding in a downward direction. The open roof construction comprises a stationary part and at least one panel for at least closing the roof opening. The stationary part is provided with sealing assembly comprising a first seal part forming a seal towards the panel, and a second seal part capable of sealing the stationary part against the roof edge. The sealing assembly is provided with an attachment structure protruding from the first seal part and the second seal part and attaching the sealing assembly to the stationary part. A reinforcement member is integrated in the sealing assembly and extends at least between the first and second seal parts. The reinforcement member forms an integral part of the attachment structure of the sealing assembly.
BOTTOM LOAD REMOVABLE ROOF PANEL SYSTEM
A removable roof panel system for a vehicle, includes a frame structure configured to be mounted to a roof of the vehicle. A front panel is removably mounted to the frame structure and including a front glass panel and a front panel frame. A rear panel is removably mounted to the frame structure and includes a rear glass panel and a rear panel frame. The frame structure includes a trough portion and supports a first seal configured to be disposed between the roof of the vehicle and the front and rear glass panels and a second seal disposed between the front and rear panel frames and the frame structure. A front latch system releasably secures the front panel to the frame structure and a rear latch system releasably secures the rear panel to the frame structure.
