MULTIPLE POSITION VEHICLE COVER
A cover for a vehicle having a first compartment and a second compartment includes a first section, a second section and an intermediate section. The first section includes at least one connector and is adapted to overlie the first compartment. The second section includes at least one connector and the intermediate section is located between the first section and the second section. In a first position the cover defines a first effective surface area, and the first section is in a first position, the second section is in a first position, and the intermediate section is not parallel to the first section and second section. In a second position, the cover defines a second effective surface area that is less than the first effective surface area, and either or both of the first section and the second section is in a second position.
Controller for Tarp System
The electrical system between the battery and the tarp motor uses a significant amount of heavy cabling to deliver the power required. Disclosed are electrical systems to reduce the amount of wire necessary by employing the vehicle body for the electrical ground; momentarily configuring the battery bank to raise the voltage; and a control system to simplify the user interface.
VEHICLE COVER
A cover usable with a vehicle furls and unfurls (rolls and unrolls) about a roller of a roller construct. The roller construct slides on a track that is mounted to the vehicle. In a first position, the cover is unrolled to cover a portion of the vehicle, such as a bed of a truck. In a second position, the roller construct slides outwardly and beyond a side of the vehicle to provide cover to an exterior portion on a side of the vehicle. Articulating support members are connected to the cover to support and hold an end of the cover that is opposite the roller construct.
Truck Bed Cover
A truck bed cover includes rails attached along truck bed side tops, slats residing laterally between the rails, end caps attached to opposite ends of each slat sliding forward and rearward in the rails, and flexible joiner hinges attaching consecutive ones of the slats. A cover holder resided between truck sides against a truck cab. The cover slides into the holder for storage, and rolls into a spiral inside the holder. Each slat includes two end walls and a center wall. The center wall includes a center C shaped portion and vertical portions reaching up from the center C shaped portion to a slat top surface and down from the center C shaped portion to a slat bottom surface. The slat top is cambered to reduce or eliminate water pooling on the cover.
Trunk Mounted Retractable Sunshade Assembly
A trunk mounted retractable sunshade assembly for protecting a vehicle from weather conditions and high temperatures includes a pair of straps and a shading module. Each strap has a first end that configured to couple to an inner surface of a trunk of a vehicle, proximate to both a rear and a respective opposing side of the vehicle. Each of opposing endpoints of the shading module is coupled to a second end of a respective strap. The straps are configured to be extended from the trunk so that the shading module is selectively positionable externally to the trunk with the trunk closed. The shading module is spring-loaded so that a center panel of the shading module is selectively extendable to cover at least a portion of an upper surface of the vehicle to protect the portion of the upper surface of the vehicle from weather conditions and sunlight.
Retractable car cover
Embodiments are directed to a vehicle cover system. The vehicle cover system may include a vehicle cover, a container, and one or more gathering cords. The container may have one or more cord channels that each have a first side that faces the interior of the container and a second side that faces the exterior of the container. The one or more gathering cords may extend through the one or more cord channels from the first side to the second side. Each of the one or more gathering cords may be mechanically coupled to the vehicle cover on the first side of the one or more cord channels and may be accessible on the second side of the one or more cord channels in the environment external the container while the vehicle cover covers the vehicle and while the vehicle cover is housed in the container.
VEHICLE PROTECTION AGAINST WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A vehicle protection system to protect a vehicle from weather and temperature, the vehicle protection system including a slide-out cover to at least partially expose the window in a first position and to at least partially cover a window of the vehicle in a second position, a rain bag to collect and direct water away from the window, and a roof protector to at least partially expose the roof in a first lateral position and to at least partially cover a roof in a second lateral position. The vehicle protection system may further include a control unit to control at least one of the slide-out cover and the roof protector.
MOTORIZED WINDSHIELD SUNSHADE
A motorized sunshade to optionally cover at least a portion of a windshield of an automobile, the motorized sunshade including a roller rod removably disposed on a top edge of an exterior surface of the windshield, a rolling shade disposed within an interior portion of the roller rod to cover the windshield in response to a movement of the rolling shade from a first position to a second position and to expose the windshield in response to a movement of the rolling shade from the second position to the first position, and a plurality of tracks disposed at side edges of the windshield and removably connected to the roller rod, such that the rolling shade slides between and at least partially within each of the plurality of tracks.
BED COVER ASSEMBLY FOR PICKUP TRUCK
A bed cover assembly for a pickup truck may include cover guides coupled to upper ends of both body sides of a pickup truck and having guide means such as a guide rail formed inward of the truck; a bed cover coupled between the cover guides to slide along the guide means; and rotary guide rail assemblies hinged to both body sides of the rear of the truck, wherein when the bed cover moves rearward, the rotary guide rail assemblies rotate upward about respective hinge axes thereof and the bed cover moves along guide means formed at the rotary guide rail assemblies.
ANTI-ICING AND ULTRAVIOLET REFLECTIVE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE WINDSHIELDS AND WINDOWS
Various embodiments are directed to an anti-icing and ultra-violet (UV) reflective apparatus for vehicle windshields and windows. The apparatus may include a housing including a hinged door covering interior components contained therein. The components may include a cover component coupled to an interior of the housing that stores a cover for covering a vehicle windshield and vehicle windows and that reflects UV radiation. The components may further include a roller component, coupled to an interior of the housing, that stores a set of rollers in an anti-freezing compound utilized for coating the cover. The components may also include a turning mechanism coupled to the cover component through an exterior side of the housing that extends the cover onto the vehicle windshield and/or the vehicle windows to protect the at least one of the vehicle windshield and the one or more vehicle windows against freezing and the UV radiation.
