OFF-ROAD VEHICLE ENGINE MOUNTING
The present disclosure relates to an off-road vehicle having different features such as an engine assembly, a frame having a frame structure, and a rear mount assembly facilitating easy installation of the engine assembly, and a method of installing the engine assembly. Embodiments of the present disclosure also describe a removable frame member facilitating the installation of the engine assembly from a seating area into a rearward portion of the vehicle. The removable frame member is positioned at least partially forward of the installed engine assembly and in a lateral direction of the vehicle. The frame structure and the rear mount assembly provide more efficient assembly of the engine and transmission assembly into a tight space envelope.
TORQUE ROD
A torque rod for straddling connection target members including a rod member and a rubber bushing provided to a lengthwise end of the rod member. The rubber bushing includes an inside shaft member, an outer peripheral member to be attached to one of the connection target members, and a rubber elastic body connecting the inside shaft member and the outer peripheral member. The rubber bushing is a part separate from the rod member and the end of the rod member is fixed to the inside shaft member. The rod member includes an abutting face to abut against the one of the connection target members without interposing the outer peripheral member of the rubber bushing. A stopper to limit an amount of elastic deformation of the rubber elastic body in the rubber bushing is constituted by including the abutting face of the rod member.
TORQUE ROD
A torque rod including: a rod member; and a rubber bushing provided at a lengthwise end of the rod member, wherein the rubber bushing includes an inner axial member, an outer tubular member, and a rubber elastic body connecting the inner axial member and the outer tubular member with each other, the lengthwise end of the rod member is fixed to the inner axial member of the rubber bushing constituted by a part separate from the rod member, and a stopper to limit a relative displacement amount of the inner axial member and the outer tubular member in the rubber bushing is constituted in contact sections of the rod member and the outer tubular member.
HANDLING STRUT
A handling strut connects the powertrain of an automobile to a structural member, such as a panel in the engine bay. The handling strut is comprised of two strut members, one connected to the powertrain, the other connected to the structural member. A shaft attached to one strut member, extends through a bushing provided in the other strut member and an air gap is provided between the bushing and the shaft, such that when the engine is idle, or not accelerating, and in the absence of hard cornering, the strut members are decoupled. The isolation of the strut members when not required to control engine roll, reduces/avoids transmission of noise, vibration and/or harshness.
ROLL ROD DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A roll rod device for a vehicle includes a mounting flange mounted to a vehicle body; a housing of a cylindrical shape integrally formed at the mounting flange; a roll rod having a first end coupled to the housing to be slid and moved and a second end on which a bush unit is mounted; and an attenuation unit mounted to the first end of the roll rod and attenuating a vibration and an impact force while being slid and moved, or being compressed and tensioned in an axis direction of the roll rod inside the housing.
ROLL ROD FOR VEHICLE
A roll rod for a vehicle includes: a bracket including a front insulator, which is connected to a power train, installed on one end portion; and a rear insulator assembly installed on the other end portion of the bracket. The rear insulator assembly comprises a rear insulator disposed on an inner side of a rear mounting portion formed on the other end portion of the bracket, and a core penetrating the rear insulator and fastened to a vehicle body.
ENGINE ASSEMBLY MOUNTING FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An engine assembly arrangement for a motor vehicle, with a drive assembly, which is mounted directly at a support element via at least one first fixed bearing. A support structure engages at the drive assembly, on the one hand, via a second fixed bearing and via a third fixed bearing that is spaced apart from the second fixed bearing, and, on the other hand, is articulated at the support element via a fourth fixed bearing.
TORQUE ROD
A torque rod, in which a front rubber and a rear rubber are respectively disposed at front and rear sides of a partition of a case fixed to a sub-frame and in which a pipe portion of a rod connected at a front end portion thereof to a power train passes through the front rubber, the partition, and the rear rubber and is coupled to an end plate, may include an attenuation device configured to cause flow of a liquid therein according to a load or vibration transferred from the rod, wherein the attenuation device is separably mounted between the rod and the end plate.
Suspension link element
The invention relates to a link element (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising a connecting rod (2) and a coupling element (3) for coupling the connecting rod (2) to a subassembly of the motor vehicle, wherein the coupling element (3) comprises a housing (5) with a passage (6) through which the connecting rod (2) extends into the housing (5); characterized by a stop plate (7) for supporting forces transferred to the coupling element (3) by the connecting rod (2).
Suspension system for an aircraft auxiliary power unit
A suspension system for an aircraft auxiliary power unit located in a fuselage structure, the system including: struts (10), auxiliary power unit attachment brackets (51,52) for connecting the strut (10) to the auxiliary power unit (30), vibration isolators (5) for joining the struts (10) and the auxiliary power unit attachment bracket (51, 52), a cone-bolt (1) attached to the auxiliary power unit attachment brackets (51,52) and having a longitudinal threaded hollow, an inner bolt (2) partially located within the hollow of the cone-bolt (1) and threaded to it (1), an outer bolt (3) having a longitudinal through-hole and partially located within the hollow of the cone-bolt (1) and including an external thread that engages the thread of the cone-bolt (1), the inner bolt (2) extending across the hollow of said outer bolt (3).
