Vehicle body front structure
A vehicle body front structure includes a side frame and a tubular member. The side member extends in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. The side frame member is configured to have a closed hollow section in a vertical direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The tubular member extends in the longitudinal direction within the side frame. The tubular member is configured to have a closed hollow section in the vertical direction. The tubular member is spaced apart from the side frame.
ANTI-VIBRATION DEVICE
A present invention provides an anti-vibration device (1) which is equipped with a first tubular mounting member (11) connected to one of a vibration generating part and a vibration receiving part, and a second mounting member (12) connected to the other thereof; an elastic body (13) which connects the first mounting member and the second mounting member; and a partition member (16) which partitions a liquid compartment (19) in the first mounting member into a first liquid compartment (14) having the elastic body in a part of a bulkhead, and a second liquid compartment (15) in an axial direction along an central axis of the first mounting member, and has an orifice passage (24) through which the first liquid compartment and the second liquid compartment communicate with each other, in which a plurality of ridge parts (26) extending in a circumferential direction are formed on an inner surface (27) of the elastic body which defines the first liquid compartment in a radial direction.
Methods and systems for a powertrain mount assembly
Methods and systems are provided for a powertrain support mount assembly. In one example, the powertrain support mount assembly comprises a first bracket and a second bracket, the second bracket comprising an engagement feature shaped to engage with the first bracket during a vehicle collision, which adjusts a load of the second bracket to decouple from the engage and avoid contacting an auxiliary component adjacent to the powertrain.
Fuel to electric reusable conversion kit and a method of converting and reusing the conversion kit
Suitable for frame vehicles, the kit provides a frame to be mounted on the chassis with attachment devices at a head section and at a middle section of the frame that supports an electric motor, a transmission and at least one battery system. Replacement of the conventional engine and transmission by the frame-mounted unit can be fast. The frame can be attached at the middle section using shear bolts to avoid impeding a crumple of the chassis during a front impact.
OFF ROAD VEHICLE
An off-road vehicle includes a frame, a front suspension, and a rear suspension. In some examples of the off-road vehicle, the rear suspension includes trailing arms with are pivotally attached to the frame rearward of an operator area. Further, the frame can include a front subframe assembly and a rear subframe assembly which are easily removable from the main frame of the vehicle to permit access to various components of the off-road vehicle.
COATING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ANTI-VIBRATION RUBBER FOR VEHICLE
A method for coating a liquid-sealed mount rubber includes: a paint application step of applying a water-based paint to an outer tube fitting appearing on an outer surface of a liquid-sealed mount rubber; and a paint drying step of heating the outer tube fitting by induction heating to dry the water-based paint applied to the outer tube fitting.
TRUNNION MOUNT FOR MOUNTING AN ENGINE
A trunnion mount for mounting an engine to a chassis. A support element fixedly connected and/or connectable to the engine and having a ring portion with an outer bearing surface that is arranged concentrically around the crankshaft of the engine. A shelf having an inner bearing surface for surrounding the outer bearing surface of the support element. The shelf forming the link between the chassis and the engine. A rubber bearing arranged between the inner bearing surface of the shelf and the outer bearing surface of the support element. The trunnion mount is characterized in that the rubber bearing is axially press-fitted on the outer bearing surface of the support element.
OFF-ROAD RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
Embodiments relate to an off-road vehicle comprising a frame, including at least one cargo box support member, a suspension movably coupled to the frame, a passenger compartment, an engine, a transmission operatively coupled to the engine, and a cargo box. The cargo box includes a floor and a plurality of upwardly extending sidewalls, wherein at least a portion of the cargo box floor extends over the at least one cargo box support member and wherein the cargo box is removably coupled to the at least one cargo box support members and is removable from the off-road vehicle via the removal of fewer than eight fasteners.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A POWERTRAIN MOUNT ASSEMBLY
Methods and systems are provided for a powertrain mount assembly. The assembly comprises a tether configured to block movement of a powertrain component relative to a support frame in the event of a vehicle collision.
