SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR QUICK CONNECT STORAGE SPRINKLERS AND FITTINGS
A sprinkler system includes a sprinkler, a fitting, and a gasket. The sprinkler includes a body having an inlet end and an opening, at least one flange extending radially outward from the body and positioned between the inlet end and the opening, and a sprinkler engagement member positioned between the at least one flange and the inlet end. The fitting includes an inner wall defining a fitting engagement member that couples with the sprinkler engagement member, an inner wall edge extending radially outward from the inner wall, and an end wall extending from the inner wall edge to an outer edge. The gasket is received between the at least one flange, the end wall, and the inner wall edge to seal the sprinkler with the fitting.
Fire protection sprinkler and fitting assembly
A sprinkler assembly includes a connection fitting and a fire protection sprinkler. The connection fitting includes a tubular member with a first insertion end and a second insertion end with an internal conduit extending between the first and second insertion end along a longitudinal axis, the tubular member including an exterior surface and an inner surface, the inner surface defining a sealing surface between the first and second insertion ends circumscribed about the longitudinal axis and including a gripping portion axially spaced from the sealing surface. The fire protection sprinkler has a body defining an inlet and an outlet, a deflector spaced from the outlet, the body having an outer encasing surface surrounding the longitudinal axis and including a leading portion and a trailing portion for insertion in the second insertion end with the leading portion received within the sealing surface before the trailing portion engages the gripping portion.
Sprinkler head accessory
A sprinkler head accessory includes an inner ring attached to a sprinkler head and an outer ring hiding the edge of a ceiling hole through which the sprinkler head passes. The inner ring has a partition portion facing the outer ring with a gap therebetween. A ventilation portion constituted by the gap through which the indoor side of a ceiling board and the back side of the ceiling board communicate with one another is provided between the outer ring and the partition portion.

The reflective shield is positioned substantially opposite the cover plate adjacent the first end of the sprinkler such that heat reflects from the top plate towards the heat responsive element.

A fire suppression sprinkler assembly coupled to a mounting surface includes a sprinkler having a heat responsive element arranged adjacent a first end. A cover plate is positioned adjacent the heat responsive element and includes a thermally conductive cover layer. A reflective shield has a reflective interior surface. The reflective shield is positioned substantially opposite the cover plate adjacent the first end of the sprinkler such that heat reflects from the top plate towards the heat responsive element.

A flexible dry sprinkler has an inlet having an inlet orifice, an outlet, a flexible tube having a first end attached to the inlet and a second end attached to the outlet, an inlet seal for sealing the inlet orifice, whereby, when the inlet seal releases, fluid is permitted to flow from the inlet orifice to the outlet through the flexible tube, and a yoke positioned in the inlet, the yoke having a plurality of spaced-apart legs that permit the fluid to flow passed the yoke toward the outlet.

A flexible dry sprinkler has an inlet having an inlet orifice, an outlet, a flexible tube having a first end attached to the inlet and a second end attached to the outlet, an inlet seal for sealing the inlet orifice, whereby, when the inlet seal releases, fluid is permitted to flow from the inlet orifice to the outlet through the flexible tube, and a yoke positioned in the inlet, the yoke having a plurality of spaced-apart legs that permit the fluid to flow passed the yoke toward the outlet.
Sprinkler guard for fire protection sprinkler assemblies
A sprinkler guard for protection of a fire protection sprinkler to define one or more dimensional relationships between the guard and the sprinkler. The sprinkler guard includes a cage that defines an internal volume for housing operational components of the sprinkler including a fluid deflector and thermally responsive trigger. The sprinkler guard locates the deflector within the internal volume with an upper boundary of the cage spaced at a clearance distance from the fluid deflector and a lower boundary of the cage located between the deflector member and a fluid outlet of the sprinkler frame body. Affixed to the cage is a clamp assembly defining a hinged relationship for securing the sprinkler guard to the fire protection sprinkler and housing components of the sprinkler guard cage.

A sprinkler guard for protection of a fire protection sprinkler to define one or more dimensional relationships between the guard and the sprinkler. The sprinkler guard includes a cage that defines an internal volume for housing operational components of the sprinkler including a fluid deflector and thermally responsive trigger. The sprinkler guard locates the deflector within the internal volume with an upper boundary of the cage spaced at a clearance distance from the fluid deflector and a lower boundary of the cage located between the deflector member and a fluid outlet of the sprinkler frame body. Affixed to the cage is a clamp assembly defining a hinged relationship for securing the sprinkler guard to the fire protection sprinkler and housing components of the sprinkler guard cage.
