ADJUSTABLE NOZZLE AND METHOD OF OPERATION
An adjustable nozzle having a nozzle body having an inlet section with an inlet opening, an outlet section with an outlet opening, and a fluid flow path extending from the inlet opening to the outlet opening; a spray restrictor segment located in the outlet section; and an actuator that displaces the spray restrictor segment toward and away from a center of the fluid flow path, thereby varying a pattern of fluid flowing from the fluid flow path through the outlet opening.
FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM
Aspects of the disclosed embodiments relate to an aerial firefighting system for a helicopter, the firefighting system including: an external reservoir for storing water, wherein the reservoir includes a water outlet; a supporting frame coupled to an outer surface of the reservoir; and a moveable robotic nozzle fluidly connected to the water outlet and mounted on the supporting frame or attached to a hose reel for distributing water on a fire; wherein the moveable nozzle is operable by a user from within the helicopter to control the direction that the water is distributed.

Firehose handle system
A firehose handle device that secures to a firehose and nozzle interface. The firehose handle device has two spaced apart handles oriented transverse to the firehose/nozzle coupling when secured thereto. In certain embodiments, the handles may be selectively adjustable relative to each other.
High-efficiency smooth bore nozzles
A high efficiency nozzle is designed. The nozzle allows water streams with long-range and high surface area in one system. Suitable transitions in the fluid pathways allow creating water streams that have a robust flow profile. The system allows minimum energy loss whilst maximizing the velocity and surface area. Such nozzles can be used for a variety of applications including but not limited to fire suppression, pressure washing, watering, and other such applications.
Firehose winder
A firehose winding apparatus having at least one pair of opposing arms. Each opposing arm has a flanged member at one end of the opposing arm and an attachment point at the other end. A central hub member attached to the pair of opposing arms at the attachment point of each opposing arm so that the arms extend from the central hub member. For foldable arms, a locking pin is secured to each opposing arm. A central pin extends from a vertical member that provides vertical support for the firehose winding apparatus and provides an axis of rotation about which the opposing arms and central hub member rotate.

Fire hose support assembly
A fire hose support assembly for inhibiting a fire hose from kinking includes a pole that has a plurality of telescopic sections such that the pole has a telescopically adjustable length. The plurality of telescopic sections includes a lower section, a middle section and an upper section. A trough is pivotally attached to the pole and the trough has a concave profile to conform to the shape of a fire hose. The pole is vertically oriented on a support surface having the trough being spaced upwardly from the support surface. In this way the trough can support the fire hose in a manner that inhibits the fire hose from kinking when the fire hose is attached to a fire engine.
