VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE HAVING A CENTER FRAME THAT IS HIGHER THAN A FLOOR PANEL
A vehicle-body structure includes a floor panel constituting a floor of an occupant space, a center frame disposed to be higher than and away from the floor panel at a vehicle-width-direction central portion of the occupant space and extending in a front-rear direction, a cross member extending and intersecting the center frame in a plan view in the occupant space, and a connecting member extending upward from the cross member, having an upper portion fixed to the center frame, and connecting the center frame to the cross member.
Power delivery system and method
A power delivery system includes a first inverter, a second inverter, and a turbocharger assist device. The first inverter is electrically connected to a primary bus and configured to receive electric current from an alternator via the primary bus to supply the electric current to a first load. The alternator generates the electric current based on mechanical energy received from an engine. The second inverter is electrically connected to a secondary bus discrete from the primary bus. The turbocharger assist device is mechanically connected to a turbocharger operably coupled to the engine. The turbocharger assist device is electrically connected to the secondary bus and configured to generate electric current based on rotation of a rotor of the turbocharger. The second inverter is configured to receive the electric current generated by the turbocharger assist device via the secondary bus to supply the electric current to a second load.
HYBRID VEHICLE
A hybrid vehicle includes an engine that drives first wheel, and a motor that drives second wheel. The hybrid vehicle includes (1) a minute speed launch support mode where the hybrid vehicle is driven only by the motor as a drive source, (2) a sudden launch support mode where the hybrid vehicle is driven by the engine and motor as the drive source, and (3) a smooth launch support mode where the hybrid vehicle is driven only by the motor as the drive source in an early stage, is driven by the engine and motor in a middle stage, and is driven only by the engine in a late stage, and if an operation amount of an acceleration instruction unit is not 0 or is substantially not 0, any one of the support modes is executed according to an operation status of the acceleration instruction unit.
Hybrid Transmission Arrangement and Hybrid Drive Train
A hybrid transmission arrangement (10) for a motor vehicle (30) includes a transmission (11), a third planetary gear set (PS3), and a first electric machine (EM1). The transmission (11) includes a first input (14), which is connectable to an internal combustion engine (VM), a second output (22), a third output (23), and at least one planetary gear set (PS1, PS2). The third planetary gear set (PS3) includes a first element (S3;H3′), a second element (H3;S3′), and a third element (P3;P3′). The third planetary gear set (PS3) is interlockable using a first shift element (E) and arranged coaxially to a first axis (A1). The first element (S3;H3′) is connected to the first electric machine. The second element (H3;S3′) is connected to the second output (22) of the transmission (11). The third output (23) of the transmission (11) is connected to the first element (S3;H3′). The third element (P3;P3′) is connected to a drive output (Ab) of the hybrid transmission arrangement (10).
