VECHICLE SHIFTER WITH OFFSET CABLE ACTUATOR
In at least some implementations, a shifter for a vehicle transmission includes a shift member and a cable actuator. The shift member is pivoted at a first pivot for movement between multiple positions corresponding to multiple transmission gears. The cable actuator pivoted at a second pivot, driven for movement about the second pivot by movement of the shift member about the first pivot and has a cable connector adapted to be connected to a shift cable that is associated with the vehicle transmission, wherein the first pivot is arranged about a first axis and the second pivot is arranged about a second axis that is not parallel to the first axis.
TRANSMISSION SHIFTER WITH MULTI-POSITION LOCKOUT
A shifter for a transmission includes a shift member, a lock member and an actuator. The shift member is movable among at least a first and second positions corresponding to first and second transmission gears. The lock member is movable between first and second lock positions. The actuator has a first position when not actuated and a second position when actuated, and the actuator is coupled to the lock member to move the lock member relative to the shift member. When the shift member and actuator are in their first positions, the lock member is in its first lock position movement of the shift member out of the first position is prevented. When the shift member and actuator are in their second positions the lock member is in its second lock position and movement of the shift member out of the second position is prevented.
ASSESSMENT DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR ASSESSMENT, AND ASSESSMENT METHOD
An assessment device has a processor configured to determine that the driver is in control of the steering wheel when an operation signal from an operating unit that can be operated by a hand of the driver that is holding the steering wheel has been input.
HAND OPERATED AUXILIARY DRIVE AND RETARD TORQUE CONTROL
A control system for an off-highway vehicle including a foot operated drive pedal, a foot operated retard pedal, and a hand operated auxiliary drive/retard control. The auxiliary drive/retard control is operable in a first state to signal a request for drive torque and a second state to signal a request for retard torque.
HYBRID VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH AN ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED TRANSMISSION
A hybrid vehicle comprising: a pair of drive wheels; an internal combustion heat engine; an electrically controlled transmission; a control unit of the heat engine; a control unit of the transmission; a passenger compartment having a driver's seat provided with a plurality of controls that can be operated by the driver and comprise a steering wheel, an accelerator pedal, a brake pedal and transmission control means; and an electronic control unit of the transmission control means that is physically installed in the passenger compartment close to the transmission control means, fulfils the function of acquiring the current position of the transmission control means and also fulfils the function of vehicle management unit by receiving the orders given by the driver and by providing the control unit of the heat engine and the control unit of the transmission with the corresponding objectives to meet the driver's needs.
SHIFT DEVICE
In a shift device, when a switch is operated, a moving portion, a first lock plate, a second lock plate and a third lock plate are moved toward a vehicle front side, and placement of the first lock plate, the second lock plate and the third lock plate at a return path is cancelled. Therefore, if the switch is operated when a lever is placed at other than a “P” position, due to a guide pin being moved along the return path toward an upper side by urging force of a return spring, the guide pin is returned to a vehicle front side end of a first lateral path, and the lever is returned to the “P” position. Due thereto, the lever can easily return to the “P” position from other than the “P” position.

ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE AND EXHAUST ASSEMBLY FOR ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to an all-terrain vehicle and an exhaust assembly for an all-terrain vehicle. The all-terrain vehicle includes: a frame, a V-type twin-cylinder engine and an exhaust assembly. The V-type twin-cylinder engine has a first exhaust port and a second exhaust port, and a cylinder corresponding to the first exhaust port is located in front of a cylinder corresponding to the second exhaust port. The V-type twin-cylinder engine is mounted on the frame. The exhaust pipe group has a first end coupled to the first exhaust port, a second end coupled to the second exhaust port, and a third end coupled to a pipe of the muffler. The exhaust pipe group is divided into at least two exhaust pipes, and adjacent exhaust pipes are flexibly coupled.
Shift device
In a shift device, contact projections of a rotation cylinder make contact with side faces of recesses of an detent plate due to an urging force so as to urge a lever toward a shift position side. The contact projections make line contact with the side faces of the recesses. This enables the contact amount between the contact projections and the side faces of the recesses to be increased, enabling the contact pressure between the contact projections and the side faces of the recesses to be lowered.
