An accelerator pedal for a vehicle, which has a hysteresis generation structure, may be provided. The accelerator pedal includes: a housing which includes a pivot shaft; a pedal unit which includes a hinge connected pivotably to the housing; a first spring which is positioned under the pedal unit in such a manner as to be pressed downward when the pedal unit is pivoted; a friction member which is pivotably connected to the housing and contacts the hinge; a second spring which provides an elastic force to the friction member; and a force transmitting member which is positioned between the friction member and the second spring and transmits the elastic force of the second spring to the friction member.
Power transmission device
This power transmission device includes a motor, a worm connected to a rotating shaft of the motor, and a worm wheel engaged with the worm and disposed at an operation pedal side with respect to the worm, wherein a biasing member which biases the motor in a direction in which the worm and the worm wheel come in contact with each other when the motor is driven is disposed between the motor and a housing.
VEHICLE PADS THAT EMULATE TRADITIONAL VEHICLE PEDALS AND INCLUDE MECHANICAL HYSTERESIS
A pedal assembly for a vehicle that includes a foot pad, a pedal base, a flexible hinge that couples the foot pad to a first end of the pedal base, a sensor configured to sense a force exerted on the foot pad, and an electronic processor connected to the sensor. The electronic processor is configured to generate an output signal for controlling the vehicle based on a signal generated by the sensor and a model that defines a mechanical hysteresis effect. Another pedal assembly includes a prismatic joint that couples the foot pad to the pedal base. The prismatic joint enables linear displacement of the foot pad relative to the pedal base when a force is exerted on the foot pad.
Accelerator pedal system
An accelerator pedal system includes a pedal lever, a lock mechanism, an actuator, and an ECU. The pedal lever operates according to a step-on operation. The lock mechanism can restrict an operation of the pedal lever. The actuator switches between a locked state in which the operation of the pedal lever is restricted by the lock mechanism and an unlocked state in which the operation of the pedal lever is not restricted. The ECU includes a lock operation determination unit and an actuator control unit. The lock operation determination unit unlocks the pedal lever when an approaching object from behind is detected during a travel of a vehicle in the locked state.
ACCELERATOR PEDAL FOR VEHICLE WHICH HAS HYSTERESIS
An accelerator pedal for a vehicle, which has a hysteresis generation structure may be provided. The accelerator pedal for a vehicle according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: a housing; a cylindrical hinge which is connected to the housing; a main pedal arm which is coupled to one side of the hinge and rotates in a first direction in close contact with a first action point of the one side of the hinge when a predetermined force is applied; an auxiliary pedal arm which is coupled to the other side of the hinge and rotates in a second direction in close contact with a second action point of the other side of the hinge by an elastic force when the force applied to the main pedal arm is removed; and a spring which is coupled to a bottom of one end of the auxiliary pedal arm and applies the elastic force to the auxiliary pedal arm.
Pedal Assembly For A Vehicle
An automotive vehicle includes a body having a passenger compartment and a movable pedal housing which is movable between first and second positions with respect to the passenger compartment. The vehicle additionally includes at least one pedal which is operably coupled to the housing and actuatable by an occupant. The vehicle also includes an actuator operably coupled to the pedal and to the housing. The actuator is configured to apply a resistive force to the pedal to resist motion of the pedal. The actuator is configured to selectively move the housing between the first and second positions. The vehicle further includes at least one controller configured to, in response to satisfaction of a first operating condition, control the actuator to move the pedal housing to the first position, and, in response to satisfaction of a second operating condition, control the actuator to move the pedal housing to the second position.
