Pedal system
A pedal system for a vehicle, a vehicle including such a pedal system, a method for manufacturing such a pedal system and a method for operating such a pedal system. The pedal system includes a pedal arm, a support member, a first locking unit and a second locking unit. The pedal arm is arranged at the support member pivotably around the support member. The first locking unit is arranged at the support member and couplable with the pedal arm to move the pedal arm to a first position. The second locking unit is connected to the pedal arm to release the pedal arm to a second position. The first locking unit is different from the second locking unit.
Method for operating a vehicle comprising an electro-hydraulic brake system, and electro-hydraulic brake system of a vehicle
Please substitute the new Abstract submitted herewith for the original Abstract: The invention relates to operating a vehicle having an electro-hydraulic brake system. The vehicle can be operated in a manual and an autonomous driving mode. The brake system is divided into a first and a second hydraulic brake circuit. The two brake circuits can be hydraulically decoupled from one another by a circuit separating valve. The two brake circuits are each assigned to hydraulically enable at least one respective wheel brake of the vehicle. A brake pedal is brought into an at least partially actuated position during an autonomous driving mode.
Twin pedal hydrostatic transmission with automatic throttle
An automatic throttle for a hydrostatic transmission having a forward pedal and a reverse pedal. Each pedal actuates a swash plate on a hydraulic pump for forward and reverse travel. A first bell crank and a second bell crank are connected to the forward pedal and the reverse pedal respectively. Each bell crank may pull a Bowden cable connected to an engine throttle to increase engine speed when either of the pedals is depressed.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an operator seat, an operation base arranged in front of the operator seat, an operation member arranged on the operation base and configured to be gripped and moved, and an armrest member extending from the operation base toward a side of the operator seat.
Foldable pedal apparatus for autonomous vehicle and method for controlling operation thereof
A foldable pedal apparatus of an autonomous vehicle and a method for controlling an operation thereof, includes an accelerator pedal assembly generating an acceleration-related signal and a brake pedal assembly generating a brake-related signal during a driver's operation, in which in an autonomous driving mode, an accelerator pedal assembly and a brake pedal assembly move forward and are fixed to a position as they are combined with a front inclined surface of a footrest panel, and in a manual driving mode, they move and are fixed to a position where a driver can comfortably operate them, so that in case of switchover from the autonomous driving mode to the manual driving mode, the switchover to the manual driving mode becomes possible only in a state where all safety conditions for directivity of a driver's seat and positions of an accelerator pedal assembly and a brake pedal assembly are satisfied.
VIRTUAL FOOTREST APPARATUS
Apparatus for a vehicle is provided such that the throttle pedal can act as a virtual footrest. The apparatus comprises a pedal adapted to be depressed by a driver and a restriction mechanism adapted to restrict the displacement of the pedal. The apparatus also comprises a visual sign which enters a first illuminated state in response to activation of the footrest mode. The visual sign remains in the first illuminated state whilst the restriction mechanism retains the pedal in the footrest position, and is extinguished when footrest mode or cruise control is cancelled. The visual sign enters a second illuminated state when the pedal is subjected to a force greater than a first threshold value, so as to push the pedal past through the footrest position whilst in the footrest mode.
Pedal Assembly for a Vehicle
An automotive vehicle includes a body having a passenger compartment and at least one pedal box for controlling vehicle acceleration or braking. The pedal box is movably coupled to an interior structural point disposed within the passenger compartment and movable between first and second positions with respect to the structural point. At least one pedal, actuatable by an occupant, is coupled to the pedal box. The vehicle additionally includes an actuator operably coupled to the pedal box and configured to selectively move the pedal box between the first position and the second position. The vehicle further includes at least one controller. The controller is configured to, in response to satisfaction of a first operating condition, control the actuator to move the pedal box to the first position, and, in response to satisfaction of a second operating condition, control the actuator to move the pedal box to the second position.
VEHICLE OPERATING APPARATUS, VEHICLE SYSTEM AND VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM
A vehicle operating apparatus including a stressed means configured to receive a force applied thereon by a driver for operating a vehicle; a connecting means configured such that a first end is mechanically connected to the stressed means and a second end is mechanically connected to a mounting surface of the vehicle; a sensor configured to sense information associated with the force applied by the driver and convert the information into an electrical signal, the vehicle is able to perform driving-related operations in response to the signal; and an actuating means configured to actuate the connecting means according to a current driving state of the vehicle so that the stressed means is maintained at a specific position.
Foldable accelerator pedal apparatus for vehicle with hysteresis module
A foldable accelerator pedal apparatus for a vehicle includes: a pedal housing fixedly installed in a lower space of a driver seat, a pedal pad rotatably coupled to the pedal housing, and a hysteresis module to generate hysteresis when a driver manipulates the pedal pad. In a manual driving mode in which a driver directly drives the vehicle, the pedal pad 200 protrudes from the pedal housing 100 and is popped up to be exposed to the driver, and in an autonomous driving mode in which the driver does not directly drive the vehicle, the pedal pad 200 is inserted into the pedal housing 100 and is in a hidden (hide) state in which the exposure to the driver is blocked. It is possible to implement hysteresis through the hysteresis module 300 when the pedal pad 200 is manipulated.
Operation control method of foldable pedal apparatus
An operation control method of a foldable pedal apparatus, is capable of controlling an operation of the foldable pedal apparatus such that, when a starting-off state is changed to a starting-on state, a foldable brake pedal is popped up first, and then a foldable accelerator pedal is popped up with a time difference, and when the starting-on state is changed to the starting-off state, the foldable accelerator pedal is hidden first, and then the foldable brake pedal is hidden with a time difference.
