DRIVING ASSISTANCE DEVICE
A driving assistance device enables a driver who manually performs an accelerator operation and a steering operation to easily retain an accelerator operation state in a constant state. A driving assistance device includes a manually operable accelerator operation unit in the vicinity of a steering wheel provided in front of a driver seat in a vehicle cabin. The accelerator operation unit is operable in a state where the steering wheel is gripped and an operation reaction force of the accelerator operation unit exhibits an inflection point POI at which the operation reaction force rapidly becomes large in response to an increase in an operation amount of the accelerator operation unit 21.
METHOD FOR ACCELERATING A VEHICLE FROM REST
A method for accelerating a vehicle from rest. The method includes receiving a mode indication indicating a launch control mode selected; receiving a brake-on indication; controlling the engine according to a launch control strategy; determining an accelerator position; for an accelerator position greater than zero, controlling the engine to: increase open a throttle valve and control the engine to limit engine torque output; receiving a brake-off indication; controlling the engine according to the standard control strategy, controlling the engine according to the standard control strategy with the braking system having been released causing the vehicle to accelerate from rest, a first rate of acceleration from rest of the vehicle being greater than a second rate of acceleration from rest of the vehicle for corresponding changes in accelerator position, the first rate corresponding to accelerating from rest after controlling the engine according to the standard and launch control strategies.
YOUTH ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to youth electric recreational vehicles. In an exemplary embodiment, a youth recreational vehicle, comprises: one or more front ground engaging members, one or more rear ground engaging members, and a frame supported by the one or more front ground engaging members and the one or more rear ground engaging members. In addition, the youth recreational vehicle comprises a seat supported by the frame and configured to support at least one rider and an electric powertrain. The electric powertrain is configured to drive at least one of: (i) the one or more front ground engaging members and (ii) the one or more rear ground engaging members. The electric powertrain comprises: a controller, at least one electric motor, and at least one battery pack.
SNOWMOBILE THROTTLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A snowmobile throttle control system comprises a throttle block with a throttle thumb lever pivotally connected thereto, the throttle block clamped to a snowmobile handlebar next to a right hand grip. The hand grip and/or thumb lever having electric heaters. The configuration of the throttle block and thumb lever reducing issues associated with snow and or ice buildup between the two during operation of the throttle control system by vertically and horizontally spacing respective confronting portions of each, effecting shear forces on any such ice or snow between the two, and by minimizing heat transfer between the handlebar and throttle block by reducing the contact between clamping surfaces of the throttle block engaging the handlebar thereby minimizing melting and freezing of the snow and ice at the throttle control system. The thumb lever and throttle block providing integrated securement structure for wires associated with the electric heaters.
WORKING MACHINE
A working machine includes a machine body capable of traveling, a working device to be attached to the machine body, a steering handle provided to the machine body and capable of being rotatably operated, an assist grip attached to the steering handle to assist a rotating operation of the steering handle, and an operation tool provided to the assist grip to operate devices provided to the machine body.
Electric Vehicle
There is provided a moving base which includes a front base with front wheels and a rear base with rear wheels, the front and rear base extendable in a front-rear direction of a vehicle; a seat movable between a seating position and a folded position; a motor which drives the front and/or rear wheel; a sensor which detects the seating position and the folded position; a display part for displaying information related to the seating position or the folded position detected by the sensor to a user; and a control unit which controls the motor in accordance with operation of an operating part, and which can execute control such that a driving operation of the motor by the operating part is disabled when the sensor does not detect the seating or folded position.
Throttle attachments and towing tractor assemblies
A throttle attachment includes an attachment portion configured to engage a throttle of a vehicle, and an elongate handle extending from the attachment portion. Rotation of the elongate handle causes rotation of the throttle attachment.
CONTROL SYSTEMS AND THROTTLE ASSEMBLIES FOR VEHICLES HAVING HANDLEBARS
A throttle assembly (26) for a vehicle (20) having a handlebar (22) with a grip (36) extending along a grip axis (GA). A housing (42) is adapted for attachment to the handlebar (22) adjacent to the grip (36) and defines a housing axis (UA) adapted to be substantially parallel to the grip axis (GA). A link (48) is slidably supported by the housing (42) between a first link end (48A) and a second link end (48B). A thumb trigger (44) is coupled to the first link end (48A) and moves with the link (48) between first and second trigger positions (44A, 44B). A track mechanism (50) operatively attached to the housing (42) and to the second link end (48B) of the link (48) guides the link (48) along a curvilinear path (54A) such that movement of the thumb trigger (44) to the second trigger position (44B) slides the thumb trigger (44) away from the housing (42) with the thumb trigger (44) traversing the housing axis (UA) during at least a portion of the movement between the first and second trigger positions (44A, 44B).
STEERING WHEEL
A steering wheel includes: a steering portion which is gripped and steered by a driver; a boss portion which is disposed inside the steering portion and is coupled to a steering center shaft of the steering portion; and an operation portion which is disposed adjacent to the steering portion, and is configured to be swingable with respect to the steering portion, to input an accelerator operation by being operated to swing in a first direction with respect to the steering portion, and to input a brake operation by being operated to swing in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
STEERING WHEEL
A steering wheel includes a boss portion disposed at a rotation steering center side, a grip portion disposed around the boss portion, and an operation lever portion disposed between the boss portion and the grip portion. The operation lever portion is pivotally supported by a rotation shaft portion provided close to the boss portion, and is configured to allow a press-down operation and a pull-up operation while the grip portion is gripped. A press-down operation surface of the operation lever portion is disposed along a grip surface being an upper surface of the grip portion, at a side separated from the rotation shaft portion and close to the grip portion, between the grip surface and an upper surface of a pad covering an upper surface of the boss portion. The rotation shaft portion is disposed above a lower end surface of the grip portion to be covered with the pad.
