Safety Device For Preventing Fuel Combustion In An Automobile Collision
A safety system for an automobile includes a safety device with containing areas in which two premixed liquids are stored during an initial state and which are in fluid communication with a fuel tank. Two valves are mounted internally in the safety device and are closed in the initial state to separate the premixed liquids. The valves are spaced apart at an initial distance, in the initial state, that is greater than a triggered distance, in a triggered state. A cylindrical ring is mounted in the safety device near the valves and has evacuation holes around its periphery that are adjacent to a respective pair of flow-mix channels. The flow-mix channels form a flow-path between the containing areas and a respective evacuation hole via which, in the triggered state, the premixed liquids are combined into a mixed liquid that is subsequently expelled for neutralizing fuel flammability in the fuel tank.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENABLING A DRIVING ASSISTANCE FUNCTION AFTER AN ACCIDENT OF A VEHICLE
A method for enabling a driving assistance function after an accident of a vehicle. The method initially including a reading-in step, in which at least one crash signal, as well as sensor data of at least one vehicle sensor and/or actuator data of at least one vehicle actuator, are read in. The reading-in step is executed while the vehicle is driven with the driving assistance function switched off. The method further includes processing the read-in sensor data and/or actuator data to determine a deviation from expected sensor data and/or expected actuator data; the processing then being carried out, if the crash signal signals an accident that has occurred. The method includes enabling the driving assistance function and/or the vehicle actuator, if the sensor data and/or the actuator data fulfill an enabling criterion within a predetermined time window and/or within a predetermined travel route of the vehicle.
ACCIDENT REPORT DEVICE AND ACCIDENT REPORT METHOD
An accident report device for reporting accident information to a predetermined report destination in a case where a vehicle is involved in an accident, includes: an image acquiring unit configured to acquire an image acquired by at least one vehicle-mounted camera mounted on the vehicle; an information acquiring unit configured to acquire information related to the vehicle; and an image control unit configured to control a terminal of the report destination such that the terminal displays a synthetic image generated based on the image, the synthetic image showing an area surrounding the vehicle and an external appearance of the vehicle as seen from a virtual viewpoint.
CONTROLLER, CONTROL METHOD, AND BRAKE SYSTEM
The invention obtains a controller and a control method capable of improving safety by automatic emergency deceleration action while suppressing a motorcycle from falling over. The invention also obtains a brake system that includes such a controller.
In the controller, the control method, and the brake system according to the invention, a control mode that causes the motorcycle to take the automatic emergency deceleration action is initiated in response to trigger information generated in accordance with peripheral environment of the motorcycle. In the control mode, automatic emergency deceleration that is deceleration of the motorcycle generated by the automatic emergency deceleration action is controlled in accordance with a lean angle of the motorcycle.
VEHICLE-RAMPAGE BRAKING SYSTEM
A system for averting the threat posed by a vehicle rampage. The system includes at least one device for bringing the vehicle to a halt by external intervention. The system has a sensor arrangement which is connected to the device.

Vehicle with autonomous feature override for theft prevention
Embodiments of the present invention provide an autonomous vehicle with an emergency escape mode. When fleeing a scene is critical, embodiments provide an AV that can operate in an emergency escape mode (EEM) to enable the AV to flee a scene, protecting its occupants. Typically, a passenger or operator invokes EEM in an AV when they are in imminent danger from criminal activity such as carjacking. A least resistance route can be computed to determine an escape route that provides for reduced chance of injury and/or increased probability of a successful escape.
AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An automatic shutoff system for a motor vehicle, the automatic shutoff system including a front suspension system disposed at a front portion of the motor vehicle, the front suspension system comprising at least one spring wrapped around at least one arm, at least one sensor disposed on the at least one arm to sense when the at least one spring has been jarred at a predetermined intensity, a curb jump detection system to receive at least one signal from the at least one sensor when the at least one spring has been jarred at the predetermined intensity, and to process the at least one signal to determine whether a curb has been jumped by the front suspension system, and a computer system to receive a signal from the curb jump detection system when the curb jump detection system determines that the curb has been jumped by the front suspension system, and to control a motor to shut off.
