Methods and systems for augmented trailer view for vehicles
Methods and systems are provided for displaying a scene for a vehicle towing a trailer. A method includes: determining, by the processor, an angle of the trailer relative to the vehicle; determining, by the processor, a simulated trailer based on the angle of the trailer; determining, by the processor, a projection matrix based on the simulated trailer; generating, by the processor, scene data based on image data from a camera of the vehicle and image data from a camera of the trailer using the projection matrix; and generating, by the processor, display data to display the scene to an occupant of the vehicle based on the scene data.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
Positional correction of an image occurring along with detection of a shift in vertical eye position unintended by the user is suppressed. First image correction corrects the position of an image displayed on a display device based on a vertical eye position and a lateral eye position. Second image correction corrects the position of the image displayed on the display device based on the vertical eye position and the lateral eye position. A second correction amount to the position of the image with respect to the amount of change in the vertical eye position is smaller than a first correction amount to the position of the image with respect to the amount of change in the vertical eye position during the first image correction. A processor switches between the first image correction and the second image correction in accordance with whether a prescribed condition is satisfied.
Lighting control for autonomous vehicles
Devices, systems and methods for controlling an exterior and dashboard lights of an autonomous vehicle are described. One example of a method for controlling one or more exterior lights includes receiving, from an autonomous driving system (ADS) of the vehicle, an input to control one or more exterior lights that are part of a lighting system of the vehicle, and transmitting, based on the input, a message to a controller area network (CAN) bus of the lighting system, the message being further based on a driver command upon a determination that a driver-initiated message is received. In an example, the lighting system of the vehicle further comprises a plurality of dashboard lights.
Display unit with changing symbols
A display unit includes a layer with a plurality of sub-regions which are arranged adjacently to one another along an illuminated edge of the layer. A corresponding number of symbols are arranged in the sub-regions. The display unit additionally has a plurality of light sources. The said light sources are arranged adjacently to one another along the illuminated edge of the layer. Each light source is configured to emit light into the respective sub-region of the layer via the illuminated edge of the layer. The display unit additionally has a limiting element which is arranged between the illuminated edge of the layer and the light sources and which is configured to limit the light emitted from the light sources for each sub-region such that the symbol in the respective sub-region is illuminated in a selective manner by the light sources.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRESENTING INFORMATION TO AN OPERATOR OF A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The disclosed systems and methods for presenting information to an operator of the recreational vehicle comprising i) displaying, on the display, a first graphical user interface (GUI) component representing a first set of information, the first set of information relating to operating conditions of the recreational vehicle, ii) displaying, on the display, a second GUI component representing a second set of information, the second set of information relating to infotainment functionalities associated with the recreational vehicle, and iii) upon receiving, from the controller, a first control command based on an interaction of the operator with the display, modifying a first display ratio of the first GUI component and a second display ratio of the second GUI component.
VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC BUSINESS TRANSACTION SYSTEM
A vehicle includes a vehicle body having a cabin, a first seat and a second seat arranged in the cabin, a planar transparent member placed on a side surface of the cabin, and that separates an interior of the cabin and a vehicle exterior from each other, and a display device placed on the side surface of the cabin and arranged along the planar transparent member, the display device having a plurality of pixels, wherein there is a case where information can be provided by a display of the plurality of pixels passing through decorative sheet by the display device lighting on, and there is a case of hiding the plurality of pixels by the display device lighting off
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING TRAFFIC SIGNS WITH A SUPPLEMENTARY SIGN
A device for improved visualization of an indication in an instrument cluster of a transportation vehicle and a corresponding system, method and computer program. Due to the greatly limited display area of the mini-FID in the instrument cluster, the device displays traffic signs, supplementary signs and warning lights in one display region. The supplementary signs information is displayed in reduced size in response to a warning light appearing above the traffic signs in the display region.
DRIVING ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND DRIVING ASSISTANCE DEVICE, DRIVING CONTROL DEVICE, VEHICLE, DRIVING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM USING SAID METHOD
The driving assistance device acquires, from an autonomous driving controller that determines an action of a vehicle during autonomous driving of the vehicle, action information indicating a first action that the vehicle is caused to execute. The driving assistance device acquires, from a detector that detects a surrounding situation and a travel state of the vehicle, detection information indicating a detection result. The driving assistance device determines a second action which is executable in place of the first action, based on the detection information. The driving assistance device generates a first image representing the first action and a second image representing the second action. The driving assistance device outputs the first image and the second image to a notification device such that the first image and the second image are displayed within a fixed field of view of a driver of the vehicle.
DEVICE THAT GENERATES SALT-STATE INFORMATION OF A ROAD
In order to obtain information about a salt-state of a road independently of drivers, a method that generates information about the salt-state of a road is specified that includes a determination of salt-state-dependent measurement values, processing of the measurement values into information about the salt-state of the road and outputting of the information about the salt-state of the road. A corresponding device that generates information about the salt-state of a road comprises sensors that determine of salt-state-dependent measurement values, a processing unit that is configured to process determined measurement values into information about the salt-state of the road, and output the information about the salt-state of the road.
