TOUCH-SENSITIVE INPUT DEVICE WITH IMPROVED GENERATION OF HAPTICS
The present disclosure relates to a touch-sensitive input device, including: a support; a touch-sensitive input component mounted on the support by a first spring means to elastically return along a deflection direction and is oscillation-capable; an absorber body mounted on the support by a second spring means to be movable along the deflection direction in an elastically returning and oscillation-capable manner; an actuating mechanism acting on the absorber body and the input component, with at least one direction of action having a component of the direction of action parallel to the deflection direction to cause a movement of the input component for generating haptic feedback along the deflection direction and cause movement of the absorber body in the direction opposite the movement of the input component; a mechanical trimming device for changing an effective spring length of a spring of the first spring means or the second spring means.
Operating element of a motor vehicle
An operating element of a motor vehicle provided with a contact surface. The contact surface is provided with an element, controllable via actuators, that responds to the sense of touch of an operator, through which a feedback is provided to the operator about the currently engaged gear of the transmission of the motor vehicle.
Display audio device
This DA device is installed in a vehicle and works in tandem with a portable information terminal in outputting information, said DA device being provided with: a main body section; a display section that can be opened and closed relative to the main body section; a holder part for holding the information terminal, said holder part being connected to the back surface of the display section and opening and closing together with the display section; an electric circuit that is housed in the main body section; and an opening and closing mechanism for switching the display section between an open state in which the holder part is exposed to the outside of a case and a closed state in which the holder part is inside the case.
Systems and methods for controlling multiple displays of a motor vehicle
A method includes displaying information via a first display, displaying information via a second display, controlling the information displayed via the first display and the second display with a controller, and receiving a first input from a user through a user interface. The first input includes a command to change a setting of the first display or the second display and/or the information being displayed via the first display or the second display. The method also includes generating a first haptic effect to confirm receipt of the first input.
INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, ASSOCIATED VEHICLE, AND CONTROL METHOD
An infotainment system for a vehicle comprises a speaker, configured to be attached to a seat of the vehicle and comprising a transducer. The infotainment system comprises an electronic control unit, configured to receive a first signal from an audio source, and to transmit a first output, based on the first signal, to the transducer, so as to excite the transducer in an audible frequency range above a predetermined first threshold, the infotainment system being in an audio mode. The infotainment system further comprises a haptic controller, configured to generate a second signal, representative of a haptic signal. The electronic control unit is configured to transmit a second output, based on the second signal, to the transducer, so as to excite the transducer in a frequency range below a predetermined second threshold equal to or lower than the first threshold, the infotainment system being in a vibration mode.
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a light guide to allow light transmission from a light source, and a cover to cover the light guide. The light guide may comprise an icon or indicator and the cover may comprise a depression or indentation in an inner surface of the cover. The icon/indicator of the light guide may comprise a light-transmissive resin material configured to fit within the depression/indentation in the cover. The icon/indicator may be presented when illuminated and hidden by the cover when not illuminated. The cover may comprise a polymer material coupled to the light guide. The cover may present a user interface. A surface of the cover may comprise an information region and/or a decorative region. The component may comprise a steering wheel, console, floor console, center console, instrument panel, door panel, dashboard, display, armrest, or cockpit.
Vehicle operating unit with tactile feedback
The operating unit comprises an operating element which is adapted to be mechanically excited by means of a piezo driver. The piezo driver comprises a piezo actuator made from a piezoelectric material. The longitudinal extension ends of the piezo actuator have mechanically coupled thereto a conversion gear for converting a length change of the piezo actuator occurring in the effective direction of the piezo actuator into a movement of an element, which is coupled to the conversion gear and to be moved, at an angle not equal to 0 degree relative to the longitudinal extension of the piezo actuator. The conversion gear comprises a first bracket which is of an elastic configuration and/or comprises an elastic material and which, in the area of the longitudinal extension ends of the piezo actuator, is mechanically coupled to the latter. The first bracket is provided with a first and a second end portion, where the first bracket is respectively mechanically coupled to the piezo actuator, and between the two end portions, is provided with an oblique first inclined portion and an oblique second inclined portion which is shorter as compared to the first inclined portion. These portions of the bracket extend like the sides of a triangle with an imaginary connecting line extending between the end portions of the bracket as a basis and are elastically connected to each other.
CONTENT DISPLAY DEVICE FOR ROAD VEHICLE AND RELATIVE ROAD VEHICLE
Content display device for a road vehicle; the content display device comprises a support element configured to be centrally mounted in the area of a dashboard of the road vehicle; at least one screen mechanically connected to the support element and configured to be visible to a passenger and/or to a driver while driving; the support element comprising a perimeter portion surrounding the screen; the device comprising tactile controls, which are arranged in the area of the perimeter portion and are flat relative to the portion.
