Operating element, having an operating surface and a vibration actuator for producing a locally defined vibration at the operating surface

A control element (1) has a control panel (2) on a front side and a rear surface (3) on a rear side of the control element situated opposite the front side. The control element has a vibration actuator (4) operatively connected to a locally limited portion (5) of the control panel (2). Thus, a touch detected by a sensor on the locally limited portion (5) of the control panel (2) triggers a vibration of the vibration actuator (4). The vibration actuator (4) is connected indirectly, via a lever element (7), to the rear surface (3) on the rear side of the control panel (2). The lever element (7) transmits a vibration of the vibration actuator (4) to the rear surface (3) of the control element in the area of the locally limited portion (5) of the front side of the control panel (2).

A method for guiding boarding/alighting of a vehicle includes collecting body information of an occupant when the occupant approaches the vehicle, determining an arrival location of the vehicle based on a location of the occupant, and providing relative information as a notification based on the body information of the occupant.

Method for Providing an Active Haptic Feedback Signal for an Operating Element

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for providing an active haptic feedback signal for an operating element upon actuation of the operating element. Whether the operating element is actuated is determined. Whether a function is assigned to the operating element, if actuation of the operating element has been determined, is determined. The active haptic feedback signal is output to the operating element only in those cases in which actuation of the operating element has been determined and that a function is assigned to the operating element has been determined.

OPERATING DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR IN THE FORM OF A TOUCHPAD

An operator control apparatus, in particular for a motor vehicle, having an operating surface for manual action by an element, particularly the finger of a human hand. A sensor interacts with the operating surface such that the sensor generates a signal when the element approaches the operating surface and/or when the operating surface is touched by the element and/or when pressure is applied to the operating surface by the element. The signal is used for switching and/or triggering a function in the style of a switching signal. The actuator is operatively connected to the operating surface, such that a haptic event is producible for the operating surface by means of actuation of the actuator. The actuator is driven electrically and operable by a PWM (pulse width modulation) actuation signal, such that the operating surface is movable in a preselectable manner within a preselectable displacement and/or time.

LED LIGHT GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR INJECTION MOLDING PLASTIC ENCAPSULATION
20190113674 · 2019-04-18 ·

A lighted trim apparatus includes a light guide sub-assembly. The light guide sub-assembly includes a translucent film layer having a darkening agent on a first surface of the film layer to define multiple translucent windows in the film layer. Multiple light emitting diodes are each mounted on the film layer proximate to one of the windows. A transparent material light guide is applied over the windows and allows light from the light emitting diodes to be transmitted through the windows. A substrate defining an opaque polymeric material layer is commonly applied over the light emitting diodes, the light guide and the first surface of the film and extends beyond a perimeter of the film layer. A transparent cover layer extends over a second surface of the film layer opposite to the first surface and a portion of the opaque polymeric material extends beyond the perimeter of the film layer.
