Method for detecting a user input for an input device having a plurality of switch elements, and input device
The invention relates to a method for detecting a user input for an input device having a plurality of switch elements, wherein a control action with a marking gesture and a selection gesture is detected. In doing so, at least one first and one additional switch element are marked sequentially in a specific sequence using the marking gesture, wherein initially the first switch element and then the at least one additional switch element is marked. Using the selection gesture, the marked switch elements are selected sequentially in reverse sequence. Depending on the selected switch elements, control signals are generated and output. The invention furthermore relates to an input device having a plurality of switch elements, a control unit and a detection unit by means of which a control action with a marking gesture and a selection gesture is detectable. In doing so, at least one first and one additional switch element are markable sequentially in a specific sequence using the marking gesture, wherein initially the first switch element and then the at least one additional switch element is markable. Depending on the selection gesture, the marked switch elements are sequentially selectable in the reverse sequence, and control signals can be generated and output depending on the selected switch elements.
Input output device and vehicle comprising the same
The present disclosure relates to an input/output device mounted on a vehicle having a plurality of displays, and the input/output device may include a touch panel configured to sense a touch input, a haptic module configured to generate a tactile effect on the touch panel, a communication unit configured to perform communication with any one of the displays, and a processor configured to set one or more feedback regions on the touch panel based on a screen being displayed on the display, and control the haptic module to generate a tactile effect when a touch is applied to the one or more feedback regions, wherein the one or more feedback regions vary according to the screen being displayed on the display.
Method and apparatus for adaptively providing indication associated with input in vehicle
An electronic device attachable to a vehicle may include an interface, an input device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, and a processor configured to detect that a context related to the vehicle corresponds to a first context based on first information received via the interface, in response to the detection that the context related to the vehicle corresponds to the first context, display a first indication indicating a first function corresponding to the first context from among a plurality of functions of the vehicle, which are controllable by the input device, while displaying the first indication, detect that the context related to the vehicle changed from the first context to a second context based on second information received via the interface, and based on the detection, display a second indication which is changed from the first indication and indicates a second function corresponding to the second context.
Method and apparatus for presenting information on a vehicle display
Methods and apparatus are provided for providing a user notification operative for establishing a connection to a mobile device, receiving a notification from the mobile device, receiving an indication of a red-light state and a time remaining of the red-light state via a wireless communications, detecting a stationary vehicle condition from a vehicle controller, displaying the notification, the indication of the red-light state and the time remaining of the red-light state to a vehicle operator on a video display in response to the stationary vehicle condition, and discontinuing display of the notification in response to at least one of an indication of a vehicle movement from a vehicle controller and the time remaining of the red-light state being zero seconds.
Visual line guidance sheet, visual line guidance system, vehicle lighting apparatus, and vehicle
Provided is a sheet for drawing user's eyes and guiding the line of sight. A visual line guidance sheet is arranged to cover at least a part of a window for a user to look out therethrough, and configured to guide the user's line of sight, by illuminating a partial region on the visual line guidance sheet. The visual line guidance sheet includes an optically transparent substrate layer, a plurality of LED dies, and a wiring pattern. The controller receives from an imager, an image obtained by imaging a region visible by the user through the window, detects an object targeted for visual line guidance, included in the image, and illuminates the LED dies on the visual line guidance sheet, corresponding to a position of the object.
Display device for vehicle
A display device for a vehicle displays an image at the time of seeing a three-dimensional object for distortion correction formed in a virtual space, from a reference eye point of a driver, on a display, as a display image. A controller performs texture mapping by pasting an original display image to the three-dimensional object for distortion correction, in the virtual space, and adjusts the three-dimensional object for distortion correction, according to a positional change between the reference eye point and an actual eye point. An adjustment unit changes a position of the three-dimensional object for distortion correction from a reference position, according to the positional change.
DISPLAY SYSTEM IN A VEHICLE
A display system in a vehicle, including: one or more displays; at least one sensor determining a user's line of sight; a controller determining an active zone and a non-active zone of the one or more displays based on the user's line of sight. The one or more displays are configured to operate the active zone at an enhanced level as compared to the non-active zone. There is further provided a controller configured to rank content displayed on one or more displays in a vehicle according to an attention score determined by at least one sensor configured to measure gaze of a user based on the user's line of sight; and a display system including the controller. One of the displays is selected to display the highest ranked content. There is also provided a method of operating one or more displays in a vehicle using the disclosed display systems.
METHOD FOR DISPLAYING SAFETY-RELEVANT INFORMATION ON A DISPLAY DEVICE OF A VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to a method for displaying safety-relevant information on a display device of a vehicle. A speed of the vehicle, environment data representing an environment of the vehicle, a driver reaction time, and an emergency braking reaction time for an emergency braking driver assistance function are input, and used to superimpose an emergency braking marker and a driver intervention marker on the map representing a lane in which the vehicle is travelling in the display device. The emergency braking marker represents a future point in time and/or future location for an intervention of the emergency braking driver assistance function, and the driver intervention marker represents a future point in time and/or a future location for the latest possible intervention of the driver prior to the intervention of the emergency braking driver assistance function.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TRAVEL INFORMATION
An electronic device and a method are described. The electronic device is adapted to be installed on a handlebar of a vehicle, the electronic device comprising: a processor; a communication module; a display comprising a halo-shaped display; a memory for storing therein executable instructions, the instructions upon being processed by the processor, causing the electronic device to: receive, via the communication module, navigational data from a mobile device, the navigational data being associated with a circular visual signal indication, the circular visual signal indication being indicative of at least one of (i) an upcoming directional instruction and (ii) a distance between a current location and an upcoming location associated with the upcoming directional instruction; and, cause to display, on the halo-shaped display, of the circular visual signal indication.
ENHANCED TOUCHSCREEN OPERATION
A location of a first wearable device is determined based on a first biometric signature. Operation of a touchscreen display is restricted if the location of the first wearable device is in an operator's side of a vehicle cabin and the first wearable device is within a first distance from the display.
