The head-up display system comprises a projection light source and laminated glass, and further comprises a transparent nanofilm; said film comprises at least two dielectric layers and at least one metallic layer; the projection light source is used for generating p-polarized light; the p-polarized light is incident on a surface of an internal glass panel distal to an intermediate film, said light having an angle of incidence of 42 to 72 degrees, such that the transparent nanofilm can reflect part of the incident p-polarized light.
DISPLAY ASSEMBLY COMPONENT
A component for a vehicle interior with a display panel is disclosed. The component may comprise a module comprising an insert and a cover. The cover and the insert may be configured to facilitate optical performance of the module. The insert may allow light to pass from the display panel to the cover and may limit reflection of light between the display panel and cover. An index of refraction of the insert may match an index of refraction of the cover. An outer surface of the insert may be contoured to align with a contoured surface of the cover. The insert may comprise a flat inner surface and a curved outer surface. The insert may be attached to the cover by an adhesive comprising an index of refraction between that of the cover and the insert. The cover may comprise glass and/or plastic.
Headup display device
A headup display device includes: a display having an emission surface that emits display light relating to predetermined information; a reflecting member that is disposed above the display and reflects the display light emitted from the display; a combiner part on which the display light reflected off the reflecting member is incident; a transmissive member that is disposed between the display and the reflecting member to cover the emission surface and transmits the display light emitted from the display toward the reflecting member; and a blocking member that is disposed above the transmissive member and blocks out light that is reflected off the transmissive member to be incident on the combiner part. A transmissive-member-side end of the blocking member is disposed to be movable from a first position where the light is blocked out to a second position closer to the transmissive member than the first position is.
Head-up display cover member and display device
In a head-up display, a cover member includes a first transmissive member and a second transmissive member that transmit a light beam including an image generated by an image generation unit. The first transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end. Likewise, the second transmissive member is formed to face upward from a front end to a rear end. The rear end of the first transmissive member is offset to an upper side from the front end of the second transmissive member.
Vehicle interior member and vehicle interior member manufacturing method
Provided is a vehicle interior member that can suppress the reflection of light to the outside, and that can reduce glare from whatever angle a passenger views the interior member. A cross-section of a groove 6 formed in a vehicle interior member 4 is substantially V-shaped, and is constituted by two flat surfaces, a first reflection surface 7 and a second reflection surface 8. The groove 6 has a groove angle ? of 32 degrees, and the reflectance at a light receiving surface 5 is no more than 2.0%.
PLASTIC COVER LENS AND DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is a display for a vehicle including a plastic cover lens including a lens, a front film disposed on a front surface of the lens, and a rear film disposed on a rear surface of the lens, a super retardation film (SRF) adhered to a rear surface of the plastic cover lens using an optically clear adhesive (OCA), a liquid crystal display module adhered to a rear surface of the super retardation film using the optically clear adhesive, a panel-front assembled at the rear of the plastic cover lens, in close contact with and supporting the liquid crystal display module, and preventing deformation of the plastic cover lens, and a rear cover assembled at the rear of the panel-front.
Head-up display device
A head-up display device includes: an image generator that emits light; and a display member including: a projection surface onto which the light is projected, wherein when the light is emitted to the projection surface, the light is reflected from the projection surface to display a real image passing through the display member and a virtual image; and a plate material including: a pair of optical surfaces, one positioned nearer to an observer side than the other, and either of which can serve as the projection surface; an end surface connecting peripheries of the pair of optical surfaces; and an end main surface formed at a predetermined a distance from the end surface to a reference line passing through a reference point and being orthogonal to a tangent plane at the reference point.
Head-up display device
A head-up display device that displays information including a video in a part of a field of view of an operator (407) includes a video display device (420) that is arranged at a position deviated from the field of view of the operator and generates and projects video light for projecting the information and a transparent screen (410) that is arranged in a part of the field of view of the operator, and transmit light from the field of view and reflects projection light from the video display device in a direction of the operator. A solid-state light source device (421) that reflects and mixes light emitted from a plurality of light-emitting cells (40) and emits the light obtained by the mixing in a predetermined direction is used as a light source constituting the video display device.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL CIRCUIT
A display device is configured to be installed in a vehicle. The display device includes: a display on which a rear image of the vehicle is configured to be displayed; a reflectance control device configured to change a reflectance of incident light; and a control circuit configured to control the reflectance. The reflectance control device includes a first part and a second part, with the first part being positioned in a first region overlapping a display surface of the display when viewed in a normal direction, and the second part being positioned in a second region surrounding the first region when viewed in the normal direction. When the rear image of the vehicle is not displayed, the control circuit controls the reflectance control device such that a second reflectance of the second part is lower than a first reflectance of the first part.
Multipurpose in-vehicle display systems with ambient light sources for integrated HUDs, instrument clusters, and interactive displays
In some embodiments, a display system comprises a set of reflective or semi-reflective elements. A display emits light such that one portion of the light travels a first path through the display system, and another portion travels a second path, which includes a reflection from a windshield. The two portions form virtual images that are simultaneously viewable in a headbox. In some embodiments, the source of light that forms the image is an ambient source, and the display system is at least in part a sunlight-driven display system. In some embodiments, virtual images have a monocular depth that is far from a viewer. In some embodiments, the virtual images are closer to a viewer, and a gesture camera captures information about gestures made by a viewer, said gestures modifying the virtual images or some property or dynamics of the vehicle.
