Display device for vehicle and automobile including the same
The present disclosure relates to a display device. The display device may be used for a vehicle and may include a display panel, a window, and a first light control layer. The display panel includes pixels arranged along a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction. The window is disposed on the display panel. The first light control layer is disposed between the display panel and the window and including first photochromic lines. The first photochromic lines extend in the first direction and are arranged along the second direction and include a photochromic material.
Cabin monitoring system for a vehicle
A cabin monitoring system for a vehicle includes a video display screen disposed in a cabin of the vehicle so as to be viewable by a driver of the vehicle. A camera assembly is disposed at a ceiling of the cabin of the vehicle and includes a camera having an imager and a lens, with the camera having a field of view that encompasses a rear seat area of the vehicle. An illumination device is operable to illuminate the rear seat area encompassed by the field of view of the camera. The illumination device, when operated, illuminates the rear seat area and the camera captures image data representative of the illuminated rear seat area. The image data captured by the camera is provided to the video display screen for displaying video images for viewing by the driver of the vehicle.
Article Having a High Visible Light Reflectance and a Neutral Color
A coated article includes a substrate and a coating applied over at least a portion of the substrate. The coating includes: a first dielectric layer over at least a portion of the substrate; a first metallic layer over at least a portion of the first dielectric layer; a first primer layer over at least a portion of the first metallic layer; a second dielectric layer over at least a portion of the first primer layer; a second metallic layer over at least a portion of the second dielectric layer; a second primer layer over at least a portion of the second metallic layer; a third dielectric layer over at least a portion of the second primer layer; and an outermost protective layer formed over at least a portion of the third dielectric layer. The coated article wherein the RgL* value is at least 35, and no more than 55. The coated article has a total combined thickness of the metallic layers of at least 10 nanometers, and no more than 30 nanometers.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY AND VEHICLE
A light beam that is emitted from a center of display surface and reaches a center of a viewing area is referred to as reference light beam. An intersection of reference light beam with reflective surface of first reflective element is referred to as reference intersection point. A plane including reference light beam incident on first reflective element and reference light beam reflected by first reflective element is referred to as a reference plane. An intersection line of reflective surface of first reflective element with the reference plane is referred to as reference intersection line. A tangent plane of reflective surface of first reflective element at reference intersection point is referred to as reference tangent plane. Respective heights from two points, vertically upper point and vertically lower point, which are equidistant from reference intersection point on reference tangent plane, to reflective surface of first reflective element are referred to as a sag. When perpendiculars intersect with reference intersection line, a sag at point is greater than a sag at point.
HEAD UP DISPLAY APPARATUS
An optical filter having spectral properties that reflects light of a first wavelength band and transmits light of a second wavelength band that does not include the first wavelength band is provided between a greater distance optical system that displays a virtual image at a greater distance from an image reflection surface and a closer distance optical system that displays a virtual image at a closer distance from the image reflection surface. The optical filter aligns the optical paths of display light of the greater distance optical system and the closer distance optical system and guides the display light to the image reflection surface. Further, the powers of the greater distance optical system and the closer distance optical system are set to be different.
MEMBER FOR DISPLAYING PROJECTED IMAGE AND PROJECTED IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
The present invention provides a member for displaying a projected image and a projected image display system in which a clear image can be displayed with high reflectivity and high transmittance without a double image, the member for displaying a projected image including a reflection layer, and a /2 phase difference layer, in which the reflection layer includes a cholesteric liquid crystal layer having selective reflection in a visible light range, and the projected image display system including the member for displaying a projected image, in which the /2 phase difference layer is disposed on an incidence ray side with respect to the reflection layer, and the incidence ray is p-polarized light which vibrates in a direction parallel to an incidence surface.
WINDOW DISPLAY DEVICE
A window display device according to the present inventive concept, the window display device includes a display panel configured to display an image, a first glass disposed on a first surface of the display panel, a first laminating member including a first polarizing layer disposed on a first surface of the first glass and a second polarizing layer disposed on a second surface of the first glass. The first polarizing layer includes a first supporting film and a first polarizing film disposed on the first supporting film. The second polarizing layer includes a second supporting film and a second polarizing film disposed on the second supporting film.
VEHICLE INTERIOR EQUIPMENT WITH A SCREEN, CORRESPONDING MANAGEMENT PROCESS
Vehicle interior equipment that includes a structure having a window surrounded by an edge area, and an electronic display screen placed in the window. In a standby condition of the screen, the screen displays a decorative image coordinated with the decoration of the edge area so that at least the peripheral area of the screen and the edge area coincide visually.
SURFACE PANEL, DISPLAY UNIT, ON-VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND INSTRUMENT PANEL
A surface panel is attached to an instrument panel so as to cover a display surface of a display unit disposed on the instrument panel of a vehicle. When the display unit is turned on, light L from the display unit is projected toward the driver's seat side via a thin hole formed in the surface panel.
