Head-Up Display for a Motor Vehicle

A head-up display system for a motor vehicle includes a projection unit for providing a display image; a transparent, holographic optical fiber display panel for outputting, on a display surface, a display image that is coupled into the display panel via a coupling-in region; and a guide device designed to move the display panel between an operational position and a parked position.

Head-up display device

In a head-up display device, in accordance with lifting and lowering operations of a combiner, each protrusion of a combiner support moves along a guide portion, causing a cover-operation member to turn about a rotary axis in a direction in which a cover is opened or closed. The guide portion includes, from top in order: a first guide portion which engages with the protrusion in a first state (use state); a second guide portion which engages with the protrusion when the cover-operation member turns; and a third guide portion which engages with the protrusion in a second state (non-use state). The angle formed by the direction in which the first guide portion extends and the direction in which the third guide portion extends is less than the angle formed by the direction in which the first guide portion extends and the direction in which the second guide portion extends.

Input apparatus for vehicle
10664152 · 2020-05-26 · ·

An input apparatus for vehicle includes a display origin displaying unit, a finger detector, an axial position detector, and a display content selector. The axial position detector causes positions of respective fingers of a driver, detected by the finger detector provided on a steering wheel rim in a circumferential direction thereof, to correspond to axial positions in respective first and second directions of axial directions set to a display. The first and second axial directions are respectively set corresponding to first and second directions of directions, starting from a second origin, in the circumferential direction. The second origin is set to the steering wheel rim and corresponds to a first origin displayed on the display. The display content selector selects a content displayed on the display, on the basis of an intersection of the axial positions in the respective axial directions brought into the correspondence by the axial position detector.
