VEHICLE WITH MULTIPLE VEHICLE DRIVER POSITION
A vehicle has multiple alternative driving positions, with one or more visual displays assigned to each driving position for depicting content required to drive the vehicle. A selection device identifies a vehicle occupant as a driver, determines a location of the driver within the vehicle, and designates as the active driving position whichever of the alternative driving positions the driver occupies. A processing unit transfers video relevant to vehicle operation to one or more of the displays visible from the active driving position and enables control of the vehicle from the active driving position. The selection device may also check whether the vehicle occupant meets one or more conditions required to be designated as the vehicle driver, and may determine an identity associated with the driver so that the displayed video is customized or personalized in accordance with that identity.
Vehicle driving assistance apparatus
In a driving assistance apparatus mounted in a vehicle, a detector detects a lane change of the vehicle, a determiner determines a position of a lane traveled by the vehicle immediately after the lane change detected by the detector relative to a position of a lane traveled by the vehicle immediately before the lane change, and a verifier determines whether or not there is misrecognition of speed limits during travel of the vehicle based on a positional relationship between the lanes traveled by the vehicle immediately before and after the lane change detected by the detector and a comparison between recognized speed limits for the respective lanes traveled by the vehicle immediately before and after the lane change detected by the detector. If it is determined that there is misrecognition of speed limits, a reporter reports the recognized speed limit to a driver of the vehicle in a prescribed manner.
Vehicle display control device, vehicle display control system, vehicle, vehicle display control method, and non-transitory storage medium storing a program
A vehicle display control device includes: a display section that is configured to cause display at a plurality of display areas provided adjacent to each other inside a vehicle cabin; and a display item changing section that is configured to change respective display items displayed at the plurality of display areas by the display section.
Display device for a vehicle, display method and program
A display device includes a display section provided in a cabin of a vehicle that is capable of autonomous driving, memory, and a processor connected to the memory. The processor is configured to, before conducting a lane change by autonomous driving from a first lane in which the vehicle is running to a second lane that is distinct from the first lane, display a lane display and a confirmation display at the display section. The lane display corresponds to the first lane and the second lane. The confirmation display relates to confirmation of a condition of the second lane.
Head-up display device
A head-up display device includes: an optical unit that projects picture light toward a front windshield of a vehicle, and that displays picture information reflected on the front windshield as a virtual image; a display controller that controls the optical unit so as to display the picture information on the front windshield; and a vehicle state identifying device that identifies a vehicle state. The display control device controls the optical unit so as to move the display position of the picture information in a direction in which the field of view of a driver of the vehicle can be secured according to the vehicle state identified by the vehicle state identifying device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device, includes: a gesture detection unit that recognizes gestures by a user; an output information control unit that controls output information to a display unit; and a device control unit, wherein: if the gesture detection unit has detected that the user has raised a hand for a certain time period, then the output information control unit displays upon the display unit a plurality of candidates for selection in association with gestures for operation; and if the gesture detection unit has detected a predetermined gesture by the user, the device control unit considers that, among the candidates for selection displayed upon the display unit, a candidate corresponding to the gesture that has been detected has been selected.
In-vehicle device, control method of in-vehicle device, and computer-readable storage medium
An in-vehicle device includes: a drive assist unit configured to perform drive assist processing; a display unit configured to display an image in a display area with the image overlapped on a scene in a real space ahead of a vehicle; and a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display, in a normal state while the drive assist processing is performed, an image of a first marker at a vehicle-corresponding position as a position in the display area corresponding to a position where the vehicle is estimated to be positioned in the real space in a predetermined time. The first marker has a first color, the first marker has a first shape that has a smooth outline and fluctuates, and a display position of the first marker varies periodically from the vehicle-corresponding position.
