Autonomous vehicle seat positioning system
An autonomous vehicle seat positioning system has a controller connected to a display, a control panel and a positioning mechanism of a vehicle seat assembly. The controller operates in a position saving mode and a position selecting mode. In the position saving mode, positioning inputs made by the first occupant are saved in memory as a first upright setting corresponding to the first occupant manually driving the vehicle. Positioning inputs made by the first occupant of the vehicle seat assembly are also saved in memory as a first relaxation setting corresponding to the first occupant viewing the display with the vehicle operating in a self-driving mode. In the position selecting mode, the controller operates the positioning mechanism to move the vehicle seat assembly to positions corresponding the first upright setting or the first relaxation setting.
Safety confirmation assist device
A safety confirmation assist device is equipped with a presenting unit which presents visible information at a position that a driver of a vehicle can recognize it visually, an object detection unit which detects an object approaching the vehicle; and a control unit which controls the presenting unit, if the object detection unit detects the object, to present the visible information moving in a same direction as a left-right component of a direction in which the object is approaching the vehicle while moving the visible information. The control unit controls the presenting unit so that a movement range of the visible information is located on only the left side or the right side, which is the same side of the vehicle as the object is located, of a boundary that defines the left side and the right side for the driver.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle display device and a control method thereof are provided. The present vehicle display device comprises: a camera for photographing a driver; a sensing unit for measuring the distance to an external object; a display for providing operating information of a vehicle; and a processor, which analyzes an image captured through a camera so as to track a driver's gaze, determines an external object present at the location at which the tracked driver's gaze is directed, calculates the distance to the determined object through the sensing unit, and controls the display such that the operating information is displayed on the basis of the driver's gaze and the distance to the object.
ONBOARD VOICE OUTPUTTING DEVICE, VOICE OUTPUTTING DEVICE, VOICE OUTPUTTING METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An onboard voice outputting device includes: a judging section that judges whether or not an occupant of a vehicle is alone; and an outputting section that, in a case in which it is judged by the judging section that the occupant of the vehicle is alone, outputs information, which is an object of outputting, to a voice outputting section that is installed in the vehicle and that outputs information by voice into a vehicle cabin.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE MOUNTED ON VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE
A vehicle control device for controlling a vehicle including first and second display units disposed at different positions therein, can include a communication unit configured to communicate with the first and second display units; and a controller configured to in response to an occurrence of a preset condition, make a selection of at least one of the first display unit and the second display unit, and display a first execution screen of an application on the first display unit or a second execution screen of the application on the second display unit according to the selection, or change the first execution screen displayed on the first display unit or the second execution screen displayed on the second display unit according to the selection.
VEHICLE MONITOR DEVICE
A vehicle monitor device for a vehicle that includes at least a first seat and a second seat, the vehicle monitor device including: a monitor which is electrically connected to a computer of the vehicle and which can be used for driving the vehicle; and a moving mechanism capable of moving the monitor between a position where the monitor can be used for driving by an occupant seated on the first seat and a position where the monitor can be used for driving by an occupant seated on the second seat.
Vehicle control device and method therefor
The present invention relates to a vehicle control device that can display various pieces of image information associated with a state of a vehicle, and a control method for the device. The vehicle control device comprises: a single touch screen; and a single control unit, which includes at least two different operating system programs which independently operate, and controls each of the operating system programs to display image information on the single touch screen, wherein the control unit controls the touch screen to enable at least one of the operating system programs to display image information on the touch screen, according to at least one of operation states of the operating system programs and the state of the vehicle.
SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING DRUNK DRIVING AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed are a drunk driving prevention system and a method of controlling the system that includes a sensor module measuring a alcohol content in the exhaled breath of a driver during a breath-checking of the driver and a control module configured to check the intoxication state of the driver from the alcohol content measured by the sensor module to determine whether the breath-checking is complete and block an engine start when the breath-checking fails, wherein the control module includes a check unit displaying breath-checking guide information through a display unit and the check unit displays the breath-checking guide information based on an engine start input of the driver.
DRIVER MONITORING SYSTEM WITH AN ELECTRO-OPTIC SUN VISOR
A monitoring system for an automobile includes at least one illumination source that is configured to project a first illumination type towards a driver location. At least one imaging device is configured to capture the first illumination type at the driver location. A visor assembly includes a stowed position and an articulated position. The visor assembly in the articulated position obscures at least part of the first illumination type from the driver location. An electro-optic device is located in the visor assembly and is configured to switch between a transmissive state and a darkened state. The first illumination type passes through the electro-optic device in the transmissive state and the darkened state, and a second illumination type passes through the electro-optic device in the transmissive state but is blocked in the darkened state.
Adaptive Heads-Up Display Using a User Monitoring System and Remote Systems
Methods and systems for a vehicle for adaptively controlling messages displayed on a heads-up display. A plurality of requests is received by a first controller to display a message associated with each of the plurality of requests on a heads-up display from one or more operational applications. The plurality of requests are filtered by an arbitration gateway based on user attention data gathered from a user monitoring system and a user behavior history. A priority is assigned to each of the plurality of filtered requests based on a user interest prediction model, at least a portion of the plurality of the filtered requests are selected based on the assigned priority, and the messages associated with the selected portion of the plurality of filtered requests are displayed on the heads-up display.
