A vehicle including a communication system for a disabled person may include: a motion capture unit that recognizes sign language of a passenger of the vehicle; an input unit that receives a voice or characters from the passenger; a database that stores sign language information; a control unit that is communicatively coupled to the motion capture unit and the input unit, the control unit being configured to translate the sign language recognized by the motion capture unit using the sign language information stored in the database, and to convert a voice received through the input unit into characters; and an output unit that is communicatively coupled to the control unit, the output unit being configured to output the sign language translated by the control unit as a voice or characters, and to output the voice converted by the control unit as characters.
MOBILE DEVICE SYNCHRONIZATION WITH BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY AND DATA COLLECTION
A method for operating a mobile device includes activating a driving management system that is configured to communicate via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), establishing a communication channel between the driving management system and a mobile device, transmitting information associated with the mobile device to the driving management system, and synchronizing operation of the mobile device with the driving management system. A method for communicating information by a driving management system includes determining that a location of a mobile device corresponds to a location of a driver of a vehicle, and disabling data entry to a navigation system by the mobile device. A method for collecting data may include activating a driving management system, receiving driving habit information, determining a location of a mobile device wherein the location is within a predetermined detection zone, receiving identification information from the mobile device, associating the identification information with the driving habit information.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY DEVICE
The vehicular display device includes: a touchscreen disposed substantially at a center position in a vehicle width direction in front of a cockpit of a vehicle; a reception section at least partially provided to the touchscreen and configured to receive operation input from a user; and a display control section configured to display, on a display screen of the touchscreen, a first screen corresponding to a first function and a second screen corresponding to a second function such that the first screen and the second screen are arrayed in a left-right direction, the display control section being configured to perform, in accordance with a predetermined first instruction operation received by the reception section, switching control in which a display position of the first screen and a display position of at least a part of display content on the second screen are switched in the display screen.
Method and system for operating a touch-sensitive display device of a motor vehicle
A determination is made as to whether a driver or a front-seat passenger of the motor vehicle would like to operate a display device. If it is detected that only the driver would like to operate the display device, the display device is put in a first operating mode in which a graphic user interface is displayed exclusively in a driver-side display region of the display device. If it is detected that only the front-seat passenger of the motor vehicle would like to operate the display device, the display device is put in a second operating mode in which the graphic user interface is displayed exclusively in a front-seat-passenger-side display region of the display device. If it is detected that the driver and the front-seat passenger of the motor vehicle both would like to operate the display device, the display device is put in a third operating mode in which the graphic user interface is displayed in the driver-side display region and at least part of the graphic user interface is additionally also displayed in the front-seat-passenger-side display region.
Method for providing a display in a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle
A method includes detecting a direction of view of at least one passenger as an occupant of the motor vehicle; and providing a display with information about at least one object in a landscape of the motor vehicle viewed by the at least one passenger, the at least one object not being relevant to road traffic, such that said information is provided in an area in the direction of view of the at least one passenger, wherein, when multiple passengers of the motor vehicle are detected, a direction of view of each passenger is detected, such that a display with information about the at least one object in the landscape of the motor vehicle viewed by at least two passengers is provided in an area in which the direction of view of the at least two passengers intersect.
Shading device in a motor vehicle
A motor vehicle includes a passenger display with a switchable view protection device that is actively switched in predetermined operating states so that display contents shown on the passenger display cannot be seen from the seating area of the driver. The vehicle includes a shading device having an illuminant oriented toward the passenger display and is controlled by a control unit and which, in order to prevent moving residual fragments that can still be detected from the driver's seat despite a view protection device which is switched to shading, externally illuminates the passenger display.
CONTENT DISPLAY DEVICE FOR ROAD VEHICLE AND RELATIVE ROAD VEHICLE
A content display device for a road vehicle; the content display device comprising a support element configured to be mounted centrally at a dashboard of the road vehicle; at least one screen, mechanically connected to the support element and configured to be visible to a passenger and/or a driver while driving; a movement system hinged to the support element and hingeble to the dashboard for alternately rotating the screen towards the driver and/or towards the passenger.
