VEHICLE SEAT HAPTIC SYSTEM AND METHOD
A vehicle seat haptic system includes a vehicle seat and a controller. The vehicle seat includes a plurality of discrete haptic zones defined across the vehicle seat, and a plurality of actuators positioned in the plurality of haptic zones and configured to generate a haptic output. The controller is communicatively coupled to the plurality of actuators and configured to output a control signal to one or more of the plurality of actuators to generate an asynchronous haptic output across the vehicle seat based upon a position of a user in the vehicle seat.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device according to the present invention comprises: a light source configured to emit light in a manner capable of changing an emission direction as needed within a predetermined irradiation region; a first screen located in said irradiation region; a first reflective unit disposed closer to said light source than said first screen; a second reflective unit disposed at a position where the light reflected by said first reflective unit reaches; and a second screen disposed at a position where the light reflected by said second reflective unit reaches.
Vehicle systems and methods
A vehicle includes an interior cabin and a plurality of modular docking stations fixedly disposed in the interior cabin. Each modular docking station is configured to removably receive one or more modular components. The one or more modular components interchangeably connect to the plurality of modular docking stations to enable relocation of each modular component of the one or more modular components in a desired modular docking station of the plurality of docking stations.
Determination of a tendency of a passenger to get motion sickness in a vehicle
A method for detecting the tendency of a passenger of a vehicle to get motion sickness by using a rod and frame test is disclosed. An image designed to carry out a rod and frame test is displayed in the vehicle. The rod and the frame each enclose an angle greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees with a horizontal spatial axis and/or a vertical spatial axis. A request is issued to correct the rod into a vertical or horizontal position by means of an input device. An input carried out by the passenger to correct the rod is recorded. The rod and frame test is evaluated by an evaluation device based on the recorded input of the passenger, and at least one measure is issued to prevent and/or combat the occurrence of motion sickness, depending on the result of the evaluation.
Vehicle cockpit module assembly
A vehicle cockpit module assembly disposed inside a dashboard for a vehicle and including a dashboard connection frame inserted into a bent inner side surface of an upper dashboard and including a structure insertion groove for insertion disposed at one extended side; a rail assembly including a main housing to accommodate a linear power transmitting portion, which includes a pulley and a timing belt and a fixing bracket coupled to one side of the main housing, the fixing bracket inserted into the structure insertion groove of the dashboard connection frame, and including a sliding hole formed to allow horizontal sliding of a monitor; and a connection frame fastened to the linear power transmitting portion, which is disposed inside the main housing, through the sliding hole and fastened to the monitor to allow the monitor to slide in the sliding hole due to the linear power transmitting portion.
User-vehicle interface including gesture control support
There is provided a user-vehicle interface, comprising a gesture control system that is arranged to: sense a direction of a gesture of a user of the vehicle; and process the sensed gesture to control a location of an indicator on a display in accordance with that sensed direction, such that a location of the indicator is arranged to move in accordance with changes in the sensed direction, the indicator being used to show a current position for user interaction with content on the display, and being in a plane in which that content resides.
DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application discloses a display adjustment method and apparatus. One example method includes: A display adjustment apparatus may obtain sensing information, where the sensing information is used to determine a facial area of a target user. The display adjustment apparatus may further adjust, based on a position of the facial area, a position of a display corresponding to the target user, so that an adjusted position of the display is suitable for the user to view.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ALERTING A TRUCK DRIVER
It is aimed to provide a system for alerting a driver of a driver cabin of a motor vehicle, said system comprising: a plurality of light sources arranged in array to project a signal light against the windshield and/or side window, provided in the driver cabin along a horizontal contour of windshield and side windows, outside a line of sight of the driver, and arranged to show a mirror image of the light source in the windshield or side window, visible to the driver; a tracking controller, arranged to identify one or more objects to be tracked in the perimeter of the motor vehicle; a control system, coupled to the tracking controller for activating a number of light sources of the plurality of light sources, arranged to project a signal light indicative of said tracked object substantially centered along a virtual line of sight from the driver towards the identified object.
Operator control device for a motor vehicle and method for operating a motor vehicle by using an operator control device
A touch-sensitive display device and a hand rest which can be adjusted between a first position and a second position are included in an operating device for a motor vehicle. The hand rest is arranged in the area of the display device. A control device activates a first display area of the display device and activates a manual driving mode of the motor vehicle when the hand rest is arranged in the first position. The control device activates a second display area of the display device and an autopilot of the motor vehicle when the hand rest is arranged in the second position.
Fully designable vehicle information panel interface
Provided are systems and methods for facilitating a user to configure and retrieve personalized settings for a fully designable information panel in a driving apparatus. The information panel system may be configured to store a plurality information panel configurations. Different information panel configurations may correspond to different users of the driving apparatus. Users may be identified when inside the driving apparatus by capturing their biometric information. Following identification, an information panel configuration corresponding to the identified user may be retrieved and configured on a display device. The displayed information panel configuration may include a user customized graphic. The user customized graphic may be modified by the identified user with a color, shape, or text modification. The modification may be dependent on different metrics regarding vehicle operation or performance.
