The first display control unit displays information to be displayed in the first display unit while changing the information according to whether the orientation of the portable terminal apparatus determined by the orientation determination unit is a first orientation or a second orientation different from the first orientation.

According to one or more aspects, a system for vehicle user interface (UI) management includes an interface component, an operation component, a presentation logic, and a rendering component. The interface component may include a display portion located at a first position and an input portion located at a second position different than the first position. The input portion may receive one or more user inputs and include a touch sensitive portion, a first button, and a second button. The operation component may select one or more modes for a UI based on one or more of the user inputs. The presentation logic may generate one or more objects based on a selected mode and presence information associated with one or more of the user inputs. The rendering component may render one or more of the objects to form a composite image at the display portion.

A display device that is mounted in a vehicle includes a light projection device configured to emit projection light, an adjuster configured to adjust a direction of the projection light emitted by the light projection device, and a control device configured to control the light projection device and the adjuster. The control device is configured to control the adjuster to change the direction of the projection light according to whether the vehicle travels by autonomous parking control or whether the vehicle travels without using the autonomous parking control.

A head up display superimposes a virtual image on an actual view in accordance with a traveling status of a vehicle. Vehicle information containing a lean of the vehicle in a pitch direction is detected by a first posture sensor, and a lean in a roll direction is detected by a second posture sensor. A controller controls display of video on the basis of the vehicle information. A mirror reflects the video to project the video to a windshield or combiner. A mirror driver changes an angle and/or a position of the mirror. At least one of a display state of the virtual image in a display area for the video or the angle and/or the position of the mirror via the mirror driver is adjusted by the controller on the basis of the lean in the pitch direction and/or the lean in the roll direction.
