Input device
An input device separated from a display unit for switchably displaying images hierarchized in hierarchy levels and configured to input a finger operation of a user to an operation surface to operate the images is provided. The input device includes a detector for detecting an operation state of the finger to the operation surface at a time of the finger operation and a controller for, when determining that the operation state detected by the detector is a proximity state, reducing sharpness of at least part of the image displayed on the display unit as compared with when determining that the operation state is a contact state.
Display control device and display control method
A controller is configured to control an image displayed on a touch-operable display. The controller includes a processor that executes a program to control the image to display a first object and a second object such that at least a part of the second object is displayed as overlapping the first object. The processor detects a start trigger indicating that a user has started scrolling to the left or right on the display, and increases a relative position between a first object and a second object at a prescribed acceleration with a passage of time from detection of the start trigger. The processor detects a stop trigger indicating that the user has stopped scrolling, and reduces the relative position between the first object and the second object at a prescribed deceleration with a passage of time from detection of the detected stop trigger.
Method for Increasing Safety During the Operation of a Device
A method for increasing safety during the operation of a device. Multiple widgets are displayed on a graphical user interface. Each widget is assigned an operating function of the device; each operating function is selectable by selecting the corresponding widget via an input gesture of a user. Data relating to a current situation is detected, and it is determined whether increased attention is required in the current situation based on the data. If increased attention is required, the widgets are arranged such that each widget is assigned a simple input gesture which differs greatly from input gestures assigned to other displayed widgets in order to increase safety during the operation of the device.
Configurable touch screen LCD steering wheel controls
An entertainment system control arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a graphical LCD with a configurable touch screen. The graphical LCD is disposed on the steering wheel. A processor is communicatively coupled to the graphical LCD. The processor prompts a user to select a function to assign to the configurable touch screen. The processor assigns the selected function to the configurable touch screen.
Method for Operating an Operator Control Element, and Operator Control Element
A method is provided for operating an operator control element provided for a display device of a motor vehicle, wherein the display device is configured to display a list with at least one end, and wherein the operator control element is configured to output a control signal to the display device, which control signal is used to scroll through the displayed list, depending on a predetermined actuation of said actuator control element. The method determines whether the at least one end of the list has been reached by way of the predetermined actuation of the operator control element. The method prevents an output of a predetermined active haptic feedback signal by way of the operator control element only if it has been determined that the at least one end of the list has been reached by way of the predetermined actuation of the operator control element, or outputs a predetermined active haptic feedback signal by way of the operator control element only if it has been determined that the at least one end of the list has been reached by way of the predetermined actuation of the operator control element.
DISPLAY-OBJECT INFORMATION DISPLAYING APPARATUS
In a display-object information displaying apparatus, each display object predetermined as a detection target is detected from image data captured by a front capture apparatus to capture of the front of a vehicle. A recognition failure probability that the driver fails to recognize each display object is evaluated. A memory saves the recognition failure probability and display object data containing display-object information with respect to each display object. A display unit displays the display-object information based on the corresponding display object data saved in the memory with respect to each display object. The display-object information about the display object assigned the higher recognition failure probability is displayed preferentially among the display objects corresponding to the display object data saved in the memory.
VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a display unit for displaying a first character input User Interface (UI) in which a plurality of characters are arranged to surround a predetermined reference point, a touch input apparatus having a concave area for detecting a touch gesture of selecting one character of the plurality of characters, and a controller for controlling the display unit to display, wherein if the number of pre-stored completed character combinations corresponding to an input character combination configured with at least one character sequentially selected according to the touch gesture detected by the touch input apparatus is smaller than or equal to a threshold value, a second character input UI in which the completed character combinations corresponding to the input character combination are arranged to surround the reference point.
Application display continuing method and device
A method is provided and applied to a terminal device. The terminal device is connected to an in-vehicle device and a first application and at least one second application run on the terminal device. The method includes: sending, by the first application, a first broadcast to the at least one second application, so that the at least one second application sends a second broadcast based on the first broadcast; receiving a second broadcast sent by the at least one second application, where the second broadcast includes first data information of the second application; generating, based on the first data information, a card corresponding to the second application, and displaying the card on the in-vehicle device; and when a user taps the card corresponding to the second application, displaying, on the in-vehicle device based on the first data information of the second application, content of the second application.
Display control apparatus and display control method
A display control device for controlling a display screen image of a touch-panel display from both a passenger seat and a driver's seat of a vehicle. The display control device includes a controller for controlling the display screen image based on a touch manipulation performed in regard to the touch-panel display by the user. The controller outputs a first control command for displaying a home screen image including a passenger seat icon and a driver's seat icon, and outputs a second control command for displaying a settings screen image pertaining to the passenger seat and the driver's seat. The driver's seat icon includes a set temperature for the driver's seat. The passenger seat icon includes a set temperature for the passenger seat. The passenger seat settings screen image and the driver's seat settings screen image being arranged on the display screen image so as to have bilateral symmetry.
INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND WORK VEHICLE
An information display system for a work vehicle includes a meter panel unit including a display and a controller configured or programmed to control the meter panel unit. When causing a first-type content selected by a user to be displayed in a sub-region, the controller is configured or programmed to cause a primary image to be displayed in a primary region and the first-type content to be displayed in the sub-region with the primary region having a first size and the sub-region having a second size, and when causing a second-type content selected by the user to be displayed in the sub-region, the controller is configured or programmed to cause the primary image to be displayed in the primary region and the second-type content to be displayed in the sub-region with the primary region having a third size smaller than the first size and the sub-region having a fourth size larger than the second size.
