Technical solutions of this application may be applied to an intelligent vehicle or an electric vehicle, so that complexity of a user operation in an automatic parking process can be reduced. This helps improve user experience.
AUTOMATED DRIVING SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED HANDS-ON AND HANDS-OFF MODES
An automated driving system integrates hands-on and hands-off operational modes for vehicles. The system receives a request from a driver to enable the automated driving system, determines the availability of an adaptive cruise control system, and activates the adaptive cruise control system if available. The system monitors the vehicle's location to determine if the vehicle is on a mapped road. If the vehicle is on a mapped road, the system displays an indication to the driver and operates in a hands-off mode. If the vehicle is not on a mapped road, the system displays an indication to the driver and operates in a hands-on mode. The system also monitors the driver's hand position on the steering wheel and provides feedback accordingly. Additionally, the system includes features for monitoring driver attentiveness and transitioning between operational modes based on road conditions and sensor data.

Notification control device
When a driver of a vehicle is not recognized by a driver monitoring camera during autonomous driving, it is determined whether a notification relaxation condition is satisfied based on a driver status and a driving status of the vehicle. When it is determined that the notification relaxation condition is not satisfied, normal notification processing is executed in which an output device notifies the driver in a first manner. When it is determined that the notification relaxation condition is satisfied, relaxation notification processing is executed in which the output device notifies the driver in a second manner that is more relaxed than the first mode.
INFORMATION DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
An information display apparatus for a vehicle that records information of a video of an on-vehicle camera that images an outside of the vehicle and displays the video on a display unit of the vehicle. The information display apparatus includes a display control unit configured to display, on the display unit, a thumbnail image to select the video displayed on the display unit among the information of the recorded video; and an estimation unit configured to estimate occurrence of a predetermined incident in the vehicle based on a detection result of an external sensor or an internal sensor mounted on the vehicle. The display control unit is configured to, when the occurrence of the incident is estimated, add marker information to the thumbnail image corresponding to the video including information imaged at an estimated occurrence time of the incident, and cause the display unit to display the thumbnail image.

COURTEOUS MODE FOR ADJUSTING VEHICLE FUNCTIONS
The present disclosure relates to a courteous mode for adjusting vehicle functions. More particularly, this disclosure describes a button within an instrument cluster of a vehicle to remove flashing of a headlight or signaling of an audible alert such that the owner of the vehicle may be considerate of others. When the button has been actuated, and a door on the vehicle has been opened or closed, the mode prevents the flashing or signaling. The button may be a hardware interface that uses a switch. Numerous other modifications or configurations to the mode are described herein. For example, the button may be implemented in software atop a traditional head unit. The mode may be visually displayed as such. Advantageously, and by having the mode, courteousness may be extended in certain situations or environments.
Visualization with an AR HUD
The disclosure relates to a contact-analogous head-up display, in particular an augmented reality head-up display, which places information in direct contact with the environment. Contrary to conventional head-up displays, the items of information appear as part of the environment. The subject matter of the disclosure relates to a dynamic improvement of the visibility of concealed AR elements in situations in which several elements are displayed in parallel.
