A vehicle user interface system including an operation device, a display device, and a control device, is provided. The operation device is positioned at a position where a driver operates, and inputting multiple operations. The display device displays a display image with using a windshield. The control device controls the display device to display multiple icons, which are selectable by operating the operation device. In a case where a selected icon, which has been selected among the multiple icons displayed by the display device, is distinguishably displayed, the control device controls the display device to display an operation display image and the selected icon. The operation display image indicates one of the multiple operations to which a processing is assigned among the multiple operations.

Operating element for a motor vehicle

An operating element to be installed in a center console of a motor vehicle includes at least two planar elements which are at least partially touch-sensitive such that an operator can trigger a function via a touch with a hand of the operator or at least one finger of the operator and a rotary element disposed between the at least two planar elements where a cylindrical surface of the rotary element is touch-sensitive.

Device with movable control element

The invention is a control device intended for the choice and the selection of functions in a vehicle. The device comprises three binary active sensors, arranged on an electronic board fixed in a case, the sensors switch on the passage of passive markers arranged on a support displaceable by means of a manipulable control element. The support being displaceable in translation along a first longitudinal main axis towards a front position and a rear position and perpendicularly along a second transversal main axis towards a right position and a left position, and in rotation about a normal axis perpendicular to the main axes in the clockwise direction and in the anticlockwise direction. The marker support and the control element are moreover connected to an indexing and return means which biases them permanently towards a neutral position.

A remote operation device includes a first operation acceptance portion provided as a mechanism to accept an operation from an outside and having a rotary dial supported in a displaceable and rotatable manner, a second operation acceptance portion formed of a touch panel provided on an outer surface of the rotary dial, and a control portion. The control portion accepts displacement of the rotary dial from a preliminarily determined neutral position as one operation from the outside, accepts a rotation angle of the rotary dial as one operation from the outside, and accepts an operation on the second operation acceptance portion as one operation from the outside. The control portion operates an in-vehicle device by remote control by transmitting contents of accepted operations to the in-vehicle device.

Screen-based vehicle operating system

A screen-based operating system includes a housing having a screen accommodated therein and a rotary ring rotatably mounted to the housing. A first part of the rotary ring is mounted axially into the housing and a remaining second part of the rotary ring extends out of the housing and above the screen.
