CALIBRATION OF A USER INPUT APPARATUS AND DETECTION OF ACTUATION OF A USER INPUT APPARATUS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A a method for calibrating a user input apparatus for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The user input apparatus includes a component including a touch-sensitive surface and a reference element mechanically connected to the component, a circuit carrier, distance sensor, and an evaluation unit. The method includes determining, in a first calibration step, a first relationship between a change of the actuating force and a chance of the sensor signal, installing the user input apparatus in the motor vehicle in an installation step after carrying out the first calibration step, determining, in a second calibration step after carrying out the installation step, a first actual value of the sensor signal, and correcting the first relationship depending on the actual first value.
On-vehicle human sensing switch
An on-vehicle human sensing switch includes: a display having a display area for luminously displaying a switch image of a vehicle-mounted electronic device; a light transmission type touch panel substrate body disposed on the display; and a light transmission type decorative body disposed on the touch panel substrate body. The touch panel substrate body includes, on a substrate, an electrostatic capacitance type sensor electrode configured to detect approach of a detection target, and an electrostatic capacitance type switch electrode which is disposed at a position opposing the display area and is configured to detect an action of the detection target. When approach of the detection target is detected by the sensor electrode, the switch image is displayed on the display.
METHOD FOR ENABLING UNLOCKING OF A VEHICLE DOOR OF A VEHICLE
Embodiments herein relate to a method comprising receiving a signal indicative of an intention of a person for opening the vehicle door from outside the vehicle, and providing an indication of an input means inside the vehicle upon receival of the signal, wherein the input means is configured to be operable by a passenger inside the vehicle, and wherein the input means is configured to unlock the vehicle door based on an operation by the passenger.
Cold-formed curved glass articles and methods of making the same
Embodiments of a vehicle interior component and methods of forming the same are disclosed. The vehicle interior component includes a frame with a support surface and having an opening formed in the support surface. A glass substrate is provided that includes a first major surface, a second major surface facing the support surface, and a minor surface between the first and second major surfaces and defining a thickness of the glass substrate. An adhesive at least partially fills the opening and adheres the glass substrate to the frame. The adhesive in the opening acts to secure the glass substrate and adhesive to the frame.
System and method for controlling output of content in vehicle
A system and method for controlling an output of content in a vehicle are provided. In the system and the method for controlling an output of content in a vehicle according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a content source may be adjusted and outputted to correspond to a main display, and the main contents of the content source may be converted and outputted into additional contents so as to correspond to a sub display. Accordingly, the content source may be provided so that nearby users can be more comfortable and can easily check key contents in consideration of the characteristics of a display unit disposed in a first vehicle, and the effectiveness of providing the content may become higher, thereby the purpose of providing the content may be achieved more easily.
