System and Method for Reducing Kinetosis Symptoms
A system reduces motion sickness symptoms for occupants of a vehicle. The system has a control unit which is coupled to a sensor system and/or a navigation system, a vehicle seat system, and/or a display unit for receiving and/or outputting signals. The control unit is designed to generate seat adjustment signals and/or display signals depending on received surroundings data and/or vehicle component data.
IN-VEHICLE INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, IN-VEHICLE INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An in-vehicle information processing device according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a control unit. The control unit detects presence or absence of an abnormality of a first monitor that displays a first image captured by a first camera among a plurality of cameras that capture an image of a predetermined region including a rear side of a vehicle, and switches, when detecting the abnormality of the first monitor, from a first mode in which the first image is displayed on the first monitor to a second mode in which the first image is displayed on a second monitor different from the first monitor.
Systems and methods for controlling the playback of video in a vehicle using timers
A safety system can play videos in a vehicle while minimizing driver distraction. The driver can select a video source, and video from the video source may begin playing on a display to the driver. Upon the driver first selecting the video, the video is displayed to the driver for an amount of time that does not exceed a timer having a duration. If the driver again selects to view the video, the duration associated with the timer is reduced, and the video is displayed for an amount of time that does not exceed the newly reduced timer. As the driver continues to try to view the video, the duration of the timer is further reduced until it is zero or near zero. After which the driver may not be permitted to view the video until a threshold amount of time has passed.
DRIVER ASSISTANCE APPARATUS AND DRIVER ASSISTANCE METHOD
It is an object of the present invention to provide a driver assistance apparatus and a driver assistance method. The driver assistance apparatus in accordance with the present invention includes a map information acquisition unit for acquiring map information including a lane shape, a lane shape correction unit for so correcting the lane shape as to coincide with a position of a lane which a driver of a vehicle can actually visually recognize in his visual field, and a display controller for performing control to so display an image of a virtual lane having the lane shape as to be superimposed on the lane which the driver can actually visually recognize in his visual field, and the display controller performs control to display the image of the virtual lane at least in a portion which the driver is impeded from actually visually recognizing in his visual field.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A display control device includes a display that is configured to display information and a display controller that is configured to cause the display to display a plurality of partition lines for partitioning a host lane in which a vehicle is present and an adjacent lane adjacent to the host lane, and the display controller is configured to cause the display to display a partition line of the adjacent lane in a case where the adjacent lane is a lane in which a lane change from the host lane is possible, and restrict causing the display to display the partition line of the adjacent lane in a case where the adjacent lane is not a lane in which a lane change from the host lane is possible.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DRIVER ASSISTANCE
A driver assistance system includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to receive global positioning system (GPS) data from a GPS receiver, and receive image data from at least one camera. The image data includes images of an environment external to the vehicle. The instructions further cause the processor to receive sensor data from a plurality of sensors, determine a visual alert to display to a driver of the vehicle based at least in part on one or more of the GPS data, the image data, and the sensor data, determine a display position for the visual alert; and output the visual alert and the display position to a driver-wearable see-through augmented reality device.
DISPLAY SYSTEM AND DISPLAY DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a display system includes a display device that displays an image rearward of a vehicle, a first illuminance sensor that detects the brightness around the vehicle, and a second illuminance sensor that detects the intensity of the light emitted onto the front surface of the display device, and the display device includes a housing with an opening on the front side, an electro-optic layer with a transmissive-reflective layer that transmits a portion of incident light and reflects another portion of the incident light, the electro-optic layer being configured to vary the reflectivity of the incident light, a display placed on the rear side of the electro-optic layer and configured to display at least a portion of the rearward image of the vehicle, and a control circuit that controls the brightness of the display based on a value of at least one of first illuminance and second illuminance.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A vehicle display device includes a display control unit that is configured to: display markers in positions, on a display unit, corresponding to future positions of a host vehicle which are acquired from an autonomous driving control unit that autonomously drives the host vehicle, and move display positions of the markers on the display unit in accordance with travel of the host vehicle and toward a reference position on the display unit corresponding to the host vehicle.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
A vehicle control system includes a vehicle, an information terminal apparatus that can provide, on a display unit, a plurality of contents which provide training on an operation method of the vehicle, and a server that can communicate with the vehicle and the information terminal apparatus. The information terminal apparatus includes a display control unit configured to cause the display unit to display a first content that provides training on an operation method including a method to start an operation of a specific function of the vehicle and a second content that provides, to a user of the vehicle who has been trained by the first content and is registered in the server, training on an operation method corresponding to a phenomenon that can occur while the specific function is provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF GENERATING ENHANCED VIDEO BY REMOVING FOG FOR VEHICLE NAVIGATION
The present invention relates to the field of dynamic content creation and management and more particularly to dynamically create and insert immersive promotional content in a multimedia. The multimedia requested by a user is procured from a media server (105) and the one or more objects present in the multimedia is determined. The content of the multimedia is analyzed, and a decision is taken to immerse the promotional content in the multimedia based on the analysis of the multimedia. Further, a promotional content is created in real time using the components present in the asset database (106) based on the personalized user profile. The created promotional content is overlaid and blended with a at least one object from the one or more objects in the multimedia. The created promotional content and the multimedia is joined to form a composite media and is streamed to the user device.
