HVAC systems and methods for controlling zoned interior temperatures of a vehicle including display of thermographic anthropomorphic figures

A heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system is provided that includes a memory and a control module. The memory stores settings. The settings are for interior temperatures of a vehicle, a temperature of a steering wheel, and temperatures of seats within the vehicle. The control module: collects data from one or more cameras, where the data corresponds to one or more captured images of an interior cabin of the vehicle; based on the data, displays a thermographic anthropomorphic figure on a display of the vehicle or a mobile device, where the thermographic anthropomorphic figure is a thermogram representative of temperatures of an occupant of the vehicle; receives via a user interface an input from a user to adjust one of the settings; and based on the input from the user, adjusts operation of a first controlled device to change at least one of the temperatures of the occupant.

METHOD FOR FEEDBACK OF A TEMPERATURE SETTING

A method for feedback of a temperature setting of an air-conditioning device involves adjusting a light color of at least one lighting element for the display of a set temperature. The adjusted light color corresponds to a temperature setting of an airflow zone in a motor vehicle.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN INTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE

A device for controlling an interior lighting system of a vehicle to produce ambient lighting and/or reading lighting involves the interior lighting system having an array of a plurality of light sources. The device includes a control unit, by means of which the light sources of the array can be individually controlled in order to produce the ambient lighting and/or the reading lighting, and an input unit that can be connected to the control unit. The input unit has a touch-sensitive screen for inputting a current set of control information for the control unit. The control unit controls the light sources on the basis of the current set of control information. Furthermore, the input unit, on the basis of the current set of control information, displays associated ambient lighting and/or reading lighting for an illuminable region in the vehicle interior on the screen.

A lighted trim apparatus includes a light guide sub-assembly. The light guide sub-assembly includes a translucent film layer having a darkening agent on a first surface of the film layer to define multiple translucent windows in the film layer. Multiple light emitting diodes are each mounted on the film layer proximate to one of the windows. A transparent material light guide is applied over the windows and allows light from the light emitting diodes to be transmitted through the windows. A substrate defining an opaque polymeric material layer is commonly applied over the light emitting diodes, the light guide and the first surface of the film and extends beyond a perimeter of the film layer. A transparent cover layer extends over a second surface of the film layer opposite to the first surface and a portion of the opaque polymeric material extends beyond the perimeter of the film layer.

VEHICLE-MOUNTED DISPLAY DEVICE

A vehicle-mounted display device includes an imaging unit, a traveling state determination unit, a hue discriminator, a color difference correction unit, and a display The imaging unit captures an image of a surrounding of a vehicle. The traveling state determination unit determines whether the vehicle is traveling in a tunnel. The hue discriminator discriminates a hue of the image when the traveling state determination unit determines that the vehicle is traveling in a tunnel. The color difference correction unit corrects color difference information about the image in accordance with a discrimination result of the hue discriminator. The display displays the image corrected by the color difference correction unit.

Display device

A display displays a charging schedule of an electricity storage device, using multiple icons representing charging plans for multiple days. When multiple charging reservation types are specified for charging plans for multiple days, a controller displays icons on the display so that at least one of shapes and colors of the icons are different for each charging reservation type.

Motor Vehicle

A motor vehicle is disclosed that includes at least one linear lighting means for directly and/or indirectly lighting a vehicle interior. A position-sensing unit senses ego information describing a position and an orientation of the motor vehicle. A control device determines, from location information describing the position of a person, and from the ego information, direction information describing a direction of the person in relation to the motor vehicle (1), selects, in accordance with the direction information, a sub-group of lighting segments that includes at least one lighting segment to be activated, and activates the lighting segment belonging to the sub-group in accordance with a configuration, which specifies the lighting brightness and/or the lighting color of the lighting segment, and which visualizes the position of the person.

Hybrid vehicle display device

A display device is provided with a fuel gauge (40) that displays the amount of fuel remaining in a fuel tank (24) (remaining amount) of a hybrid vehicle (10) provided with an engine (13) that consumes fuel supplied from the fuel tank (24) and generates power by driving wheels (15) or rotating a motor (11). The hybrid vehicle is provided with a non-traveling/non-power generating mode, or in other words, a fuel consumption mode or an engine maintenance mode in which the engine (13) is forced to run and consume fuel for purposes other than traveling or generating power. Of the fuel (41a) displayed in the fuel gauge (40), the region (41aa) corresponding to the amount of fuel consumed in the non-traveling/non-power generating mode is displayed so as to be distinguishable by color from another region (41ab).

Notification system of a car and method of controlling therefor

A notification system of a vehicle includes a sensing unit that detects an object outside the vehicle or detects an operational status of a function of the vehicle; an output unit; and a controller. The controller is configured to determine whether a touch has been detected on an interior handle of a door of the vehicle. If a touch is detected on the interior handle, the controller determines that an object outside the vehicle detected by the sensor is within a predetermined distance in a rearward direction from the door on which the touch was detected, or determines that an operational status of a function of the vehicle detected by the sensor indicates that the function is not yet complete; and controls the output unit to output a notification corresponding to the detected object outside the vehicle or the detected operational status of the function of the vehicle.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND VEHICLE

The information processing device includes an acquisition unit that acquires detection information detected by a detection unit including the vehicle speed of the own vehicle and the inter-vehicle distance from another vehicle running ahead of the own vehicle in the traveling direction of the own vehicle; displaying on a display unit in the vehicle a graphical image representing information about the inter-vehicle time required for the own vehicle to reach the position where the other vehicle is located, which is derived using the acquired detection information; a display control unit that changes display of the graphic image when a magnitude of variation in at least one of the vehicle speed and the inter-vehicle distance included in the information exceeds a predetermined threshold.
