Additionally, the method can include determining, based on the gaze data, that the driver of the vehicle is looking at a selectable graphical user interface element (GUI). The method can additionally include capturing eyelid movement of the driver. The method can further include analyzing captured eyelid movement to determine whether to perform an automobile system function associated with the GUI element. The method can furthermore include performing the automobile system function associated with the GUI element upon determining that analysis of the captured eyelid movement indicates the automobile system function is to be performed.
