A user interface apparatus for a vehicle includes: a circuit part injection-molded body formed in an insert injection process in which first resin melt is injected while a circuit part is inserted; and a cover part injection-molded body coupled to the circuit part injection-molded body, and formed in an insert injection process in which second resin melt is injected while a cover part is inserted. The circuit part includes: a light emitting unit; a touch sensor that detects a touch input; and at least one processor that controls the light emitting unit in response to an event to generate light; activates the touch sensor in response to generation of the light; and generates a signal for controlling a vehicle device in response to a touch input. The cover part allows light generated by the light emitting unit to pass therethrough and illuminate a shape on the cover part.

DRIVING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS

An object is to provide a technique which enables a driver to intuitively select and determine a target object to which a vehicle is to travel. A driving assistance apparatus includes a candidate selection unit which selects a target object candidate when the candidate selection unit determines that a visual line position of a driver is included in any setting range of a plurality of target object candidates and a target object determination unit which determines the target object candidate selected by the candidate selection unit as a target object when a determination button which can be operated by the driver is operated after the candidate selection unit selects the target object candidate.

OPERATION SYSTEM

An operation system includes: an operation device manually operated by a user; a control device that controls actions of a plurality of apparatuses according to a visual line direction of the user detected by a visual line detection sensor and an operation content of the operation device; and a contact detection device that detects that the user touches the operation device. The control device enables the visual line direction detected by the visual line detection sensor and reflects the visual line direction in a control of the control device when the contact detection device detects that the user touches the operation device.

VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM

A vehicle display system includes: an operation switch configured to be provided in a vehicle and to distinguish and detect a touch and an operation of an operator; a display device configured to be provided at a position at which the operator can visually recognize the display device; and a control device configured to display, on the display device, information regarding a function to be executed when an operation with respect to the operation switch is detected when the touch of the operation switch is detected.

Operating Fluid Storage System with Identification of the Reservoir Concerned in the Case of a Filling Need

An operating fluid storage system for a motor vehicle having a reservoir with a filling opening and a closure cover which closes the filling opening and which can be removed from said filling opening to release the filling opening, and with at least one operating fluid outlet opening, to which an operating fluid conveyor line can be connected, for the output of operating fluid to a consumer, the system having a need sensor assembly and an output device, the need sensor assembly determines a filling need of the reservoir and outputs a corresponding need signal to the output device which acoustically, visually and/or haptically outputs a signal indicating the filling need; on the reservoir, an identification device is provided, which can be switched between at least two functional states and which is connected to the need sensor assembly via signal transmission, and which, when the need sensor assembly determines a filling need of the reservoir, is actuated by a corresponding need signal of the need sensor assembly to change the functional state thereof from a first functional state to a second functional state different therefrom.

ROCKER SWITCH ELEMENT FOR MOTOR VEHICLES WITH PROTECTION AGAINST UNWANTED ACTUATION

A rocker switching control element for electrical sliding roofs on a vehicle overhead panel has an actuation rocker formed as a switch with switching positions and is arranged on a substantially planar control panel. The actuation rocker is recessed such that it does not project beyond the panel edge region. The transition between the panel edge region and the actuation rocker is formed with the panel edge region forming over a first width a goblet-like edge set back by a first depth, and an adjoining edge, separated by a gap of width, of the actuation rocker, which edge is recessed by more than the first depth in the non-actuated state and set further back continuously over a second width by a second depth. The recess is shaped overall such that inadvertent actuation of the actuation rocker by an object significantly larger than a human finger is prevented.

Controlling access to an in-vehicle human-machine interface

An in-vehicle computer is programmed to determine that a driver's hands are at least one predetermined location in the vehicle, the at least one predetermine location including a location on a steering wheel, determine that a vehicle passenger is in a safe position with respect to a human-machine interface; and provide passenger access to the human-machine interface such that the passenger may access operations of the computer that are inaccessible to the driver.

ON-BOARD OPERATION DEVICE

An on-board operation device with improved operability is provided. The on-board operation device includes: a display unit configured to display a GUI object; a first detection unit configured to detect an approach position of an indicator on a display surface of the display unit; a process performing unit configured to perform a process corresponding to the GUI object displayed at the approach position detected by the first detection unit; a second detection unit disposed at an outer edge of the display surface of the display unit and configured to detect an approach position of the indicator; and a display control unit configured to enlarge and display the GUI object on the display unit when the approach position of the indicator is detected by the second detection unit.

INPUT DEVICE
20180039377 · 2018-02-08 · ·

An input device in which an input operation is performed by an operation allowing an object to contact or come close to an input surface, comprises an input operation identification means for identifying a kind of input operation based on whether or not a movement distance corresponding to a distance that the object moves on the input surface exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a touch time measurement means for measuring touch time corresponding to time during which the object contacts or comes close to the input surface, and a threshold value setting means for setting a distance threshold value. The threshold value setting means sets the distance threshold value in accordance with the touch time such that the distance threshold value with respect to the touch time which is longer than a predetermined touch time is larger than the distance threshold value with respect to the predetermined touch time.

Interchangeable interface system for work vehicle

An interchangeable operator interface system for a work vehicle has at least one controller, at least one operator interface device having a plurality of controls, and at least one interface device docking arrangement. The docking arrangement removably mounts different interface devices to alternatively physically connect them to the work vehicle and operatively couple them to the controller. Different operator interface devices have at least one common control that operates in a different mode of operation and/or in a different physical layout on the associated operator interface device. The controller is configured to effect an associated common change in state of an associated component of the work vehicle upon receiving a control input from the different common controls.
