The disclosure includes a system and method for wireless data sharing between a mobile client device and a three-dimensional heads-up display unit. A system may include a three-dimensional heads-up display unit (3D HUD) installed in a vehicle. The system may include a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to: establish a peer-to-peer video stream between a mobile client device and the vehicle; generate live video data for providing a video stream for causing a screen of the mobile client device to display visual content of the 3D HUD that includes substantially live images depicting what the driver of the vehicle sees when looking at the 3D HUD; and stream the live video data to the mobile client device to cause the screen of the mobile client device to display the video stream that depicts what the driver of the vehicle sees when looking at the 3D HUD.

The meter harness supplies the power with at least the analog display unit, the liquid crystal display unit, the meter circuit board, and the communication unit, and they have a common power conduction path at the outside of the housing.

A system and a method for agile, intuitive control of vehicle functions of a vehicle, include a wearable device which is configured to acquire sensor data. The sensor data comprise movement data and optical data relating to a user of the wearable device. The system has a computing unit which is configured to process the acquired sensor data; to determine a functional relationship between the processed sensor data and the vehicle; and to determine an assignment to a predefinable vehicle function taking the determined functional relationship into account. The vehicle has a control unit which is configured to control or adjust the predefinable vehicle function according to the determined assignment.
Efficient tracking of personal device locations
A system may include zones associated with respective seating positions of a vehicle and in-vehicle components each associated with at least one of the zones. An in-vehicle component may identify a personal device associated with the zone of the in-vehicle component by identifying a personal device associated with the zone of the in-vehicle component by determining average signal strength between the personal device and the in-vehicle components of each zone, and identifying for which zone the average signal strength is highest, and sending a notification to the personal device responsive to a detected user interaction. A method may include detecting user interaction to an in-vehicle component of a zone; acquiring signal strength intensity information of personal devices from other in-vehicle components of the zone; calculating average signal strengths of the personal devices to the in-vehicle components; associating one of the personal devices to the zone as having a highest average signal strength to the in-vehicle components of the zone; and sending a notification to the one of the personal devices.

Embodiments can provide a dynamic housing system in a transportation apparatus for facilitating a user or users of the transportation apparatus to place portable devices of different sizes into the dynamic housing. The dynamic housing may comprise a device detector configured to detect a presence of a portable device in the housing, a Bluetooth connection unit configured to connect to the portable device via a Bluetooth link when the portable device is detected as being present in the dynamic housing and/or any other components. In some embodiments, the dynamic housing may be a sliding small drawer on a dashboard of the transportation apparatus.

In one embodiment, an in-vehicle system includes a display device and an interface system communicatively connected to one or more vehicle sensors. The interface system may be configured to receive sensor signals from the one or more vehicle sensors, transmit the sensor signals to a mobile device, receive control signals from the mobile device, and transmit the control signals to a target vehicle system, the control signals responsive to the one or more vehicle sensors.
