UTV PORTAL AXLE SYSTEM
A UTV portal axle system is disclosed, including a spindle with a housing for housing input and output drive gears coupled by one or more idler gears. The output drive gear is disposed lower than the input drive gear to provide additional ground clearance to the UTV. The king pin axis angle is substantially the same as that of a stock UTV, while maintaining a scrub radius of substantially one inch or less. This is accomplished by the lower control arm ball joint being located within a recess of the output drive gear. This allows the UTV to be properly controlled when driven at high speeds over rough or uneven terrain. The gears may be interchangeable to allow the gear ratio to be adjusted to be more suitable for use at various driving speeds. A method of changing the gear ratio is also disclosed.

An HUD 100 includes: a combiner support 15 that is provided in an operator cab 5 of a construction machine 1 and supports each of a plurality of combiners 12 having different transmittances to be attachable and detachable therein; a projection display section 50 that projects image light onto the combiner 12 supported by the combiner support 15 to display an image; and a system controller 60 that gives a notification of a combiner 12 to be recommended for work on the basis of a prediction value of a global horizontal irradiance during the work determined by a position of a working site where the work is being performed using the construction machine 1 and a period for which the work is performed.
Projection type display device and projection control method
Provided are a projection type display device and a projection control method capable of presenting suitable information to an operator both during traveling on a public road and during operation at a working site to perform assistance for the operator. A projection type display device that is mounted in a construction machine 100 having a windshield 5 performs a control so that image light is projected onto each of a first projection range 5A, a second projection range 5B, and a third projection range 5C of the windshield 5 in a case where it is determined that the location of the construction machine 100 is a working site, and performs a control so that image light is projected onto only the third projection range 5C of the windshield 5 in a case where it is determined that the location of the construction machine 100 is a public road.

The invention aims at providing a work vehicle in which an operator can easily view each of switches in spite of the work vehicle in which a plurality of switches such as a DPF regeneration switch, a working switch and a one-touch automatic switch are concentrically provided on a front surface of a control seat. In a work vehicle having a cabin which is inward provided with a control seat installed in a travel machine body, a DPF regeneration switch, a working switch, and a one-touch automatic switch are provided. The DPF regeneration switch is provided on an upper surface of a steering column in a base portion of a control steering wheel, and the DPF regeneration switch is arranged in a field of vision of an operator under a straight moving work posture.

The display device may be configured to pictorially display (a) the determined slip, and (b) one or more target ranges of slip, wherein the machine efficiency when slip has a value within a target range may be higher compared to the efficiency when slip is outside the target range.

The present invention relates to a control stand for controlling a crane, an excavator, a crawler, or a similar construction machine having a seat, a plurality of control element actuable from the seat for inputting control commands, at least one display apparatus for displaying information, and a control unit for generating adjustment signals in dependence on input control commands and/or for providing information to the display apparatus. The invention further relates to a crane having such a control stand that can in particular be configured in the form of a crane operator's cabin. It is proposed in accordance with a first aspect of the invention to configure the control elements and/or the display apparatus of the control stand and various further auxiliary units as individually configurable and to save and to reinvoke personal pre-settings when the control stand or the crane is to be controlled by a certain machine operator. The control stand comprises surrounding, large-area display interfaces and control interfaces and further comfortable input means to be able to carry out and adapt the configurations simply.
