HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
In a head-up display device, first and second cover parts of a cover each cover an opening. The first cover part is turnable about a first rotation fulcrum fixed to a housing, with respect to the housing. The second cover part is turnable about a second rotation fulcrum fixed to first and second ends of the first cover part, with respect to the first cover part. The head-up display device includes a biasing member that biases the second cover part toward the outside of the housing when the cover covers the opening.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY
The present invention displays multiple images at different locations in the depth direction, while suppressing a decline in display quality, using projected light emitted from a single projector. A projector 20 emits first projection light L1 and second projection light L2 that have a first projection distance P1. A projection distance lengthening unit 251 having a negative refractive power is positioned along the path of the first projection light L1 between the projector 20 and a first screen 23, and causes an image to be formed on the first screen 23 by lengthening the projection distance P of the first projection light L1. A projection distance shortening unit 252 having a positive refractive power is positioned along the path of the second projection light L2 between the projector 20 and a second screen 24, and causes an image to be formed on the second screen 24 by lengthening the projection distance P of the second projection light L2.
PROJECTION DISPLAY DEVICE, PROJECTION CONTROL METHOD, AND PROJECTION CONTROL PROGRAM
A projection display device has a projection display unit that performs, in accordance with input image data, spatial modulation on light emitted by a light source, and projects image light obtained through the spatial modulation onto a projection surface of a vehicle to display an image that is based on the image data, the projection surface is formed of a member having a reflectance that is higher for light in a plurality of wavelength ranges than for light in a wavelength range outside the plurality of wavelength ranges, and the projection display device includes: a projection angle control mechanism that controls a projection angle of the image light on the projection surface; and an image light control unit that controls, in accordance with the projection angle, intensity of the light in the plurality of wavelength ranges included in the image light.
Display device for a motor vehicle
A display device for a motor vehicle includes: a projection module, configured to generate an image for projection in a direction of vision of a user of the display device along an optical path; a reflection and/or display element, configured to be displaced between a rest position and at least one display position; and a support for the reflection and/or display element, wherein the reflection and/or display element is configured to be displaced between its rest position and its at least one display position by the support. The reflection and/or display element and the support are connected via first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh surfaces, wherein the first, second, third, fourth and fifth surfaces are planar surfaces, wherein the sixth and seventh surfaces are curved surfaces, and wherein the first, second, third and fourth surfaces are parallel to the axis of rotation.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
First and second cover members of a cover of a head-up display device cover an opening region of a housing. The first cover member is rotationally movable with respect to the housing around a first rotation fulcrum fixed to the housing. The second cover member is rotationally movable with respect to the first cover member around second rotation fulcrums respectively fixed to first and second end parts of the first cover member. When the first cover member turns with respect to the housing and the second cover member turns with respect to the first cover member, the first end part is located at an outer side than a first side of a mirror, and the second end part is located at an outer side than a second side of the mirror. The second cover member is not present in an optical path of light projected from a projector to the mirror.
DISPLAY DEVICE
The display device includes: a housing; a display member which gets in and out of the housing; and a transfer member which moves in a depth direction of a side face of the housing by a driving of a driving unit and transfers a driving force of the driving unit to the display member. The supporting part of the display member engages with a guide on the transfer member, and moves along a guide on the side face of the housing while moving in the guide on the transfer member in the thickness direction of the housing.
Head-up display projecting visual information onto a screen
A head-up display far projecting visual information onto a screen includes: a projector, comprising a light source and a light modulation device for generating the visual information. The projector further includes a global radiator for cooling the projector. The projector is arranged adjacent to a kinematic device. The global radiator includes at least partially a material having a thermal conductivity greater than 100 W/(mK).
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD OF HEAD-UP DISPLAY FOR VEHICLE
A head-up display device for a vehicle includes a housing including a guide plate forming first and second surfaces thereof, the housing mounted on a dashboard of a vehicle, a display disposed in the housing for generating an image, a mirror disposed opposite from the display for reflecting the image provided by the display, a combiner device including a combiner for providing the image reflected from the mirror to a driver, and for moving vertically in opposed first and second directions relative to the housing, a shutter device including a shutter disposed on an upper portion of the housing for opening and closing the combiner in a sliding manner, and an operation device disposed in the housing for engaging a sliding movement of the shutter with a movement of the combiner device.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD) WITH A LIGHT BEAM SCANNER HAVING A FIELD CURVATURE MATCHED WITH A HUD PROJECTION
A head-up display (HUD) system includes a light transmitter configured to generate a plurality of pixel light beams corresponding to an image and transmit the plurality of pixel light beams on an optical path; a two-dimensional (2D) scanner arranged on the optical path, wherein the 2D scanner is configured to receive the plurality of pixel light beams from the light transmitter and steer the plurality of pixel light beams along the optical path according to a 2D scanning pattern; and a diffuser screen arranged on the optical path downstream from the 2D scanner, wherein the diffuser screen comprises a curved body with a surface curvature.
