This head-up display device is equipped with: a display unit that emits display light; a combiner that receives the display light and displays a virtual image; a combiner holder that supports the combiner; and a chassis that houses the display unit and has a mounting unit on which the combiner holder is mounted. The mounting unit has a securing lever capable of rotating around a shaft part, and when a pressing bar of the securing lever is rotated in the direction toward the combiner holder while the combiner holder is mounted on the mounting unit, the securing lever secures the combiner holder on the mounting unit. Furthermore, with this head-up display (HUD) device, when the pressing bar is rotated in the other direction while the combiner holder is mounted on the mounting unit, the attachment of the combiner holder to the mounting unit is released.

The conductive foil is electrically connected to the housing and has a functional section situated outside of the housing. The elastomer body and the strip are positioned between an outer side of the housing and a back side of the functional section of the conductive foil.

The operating panel has an operating surface and a back surface opposite to the operating surface. The transferring unit has a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the back surface of the operating panel. The second end is received in the receiving hole of the head unit, and the second end can be detached from the receiving hole of the head unit. Therefore, the operating panel and the head unit can be attached to each other and can be detached from each other.
