A method is provided for controlling electrical components in a vehicle including multiple traction voltage systems, wherein each traction voltage system includes at least one electrical component, and which electrical component has the same function in each traction voltage system, the method involving the steps of monitoring and registering the state of health of each electrical component over time; predicting a predetermined parameter for each electrical component, which parameter is related to a future operating state inhibiting the use of the components; determining a control strategy for each electrical component based on the state of health of the electrical components to balance the parameters towards a common value; and controlling the electrical components based on the determined control strategy.
Controller and a Method to Drive an Inverter Circuit for a Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor
A controller is provided to drive an inverter circuit for a PMSM. The inverter circuit is connected to a battery through a DC link capacitor, and is driven in one safe state during a fault condition. The controller monitors at least one parameter with respective threshold value to drive the inverter circuit in one safe state comprising an active Short Circuit (SC) and a Freewheel (FW). While in FW state, the controller switches from the FW state to the SC state if the at least one parameter is above the respective threshold. While in SC state, the controller controls engine speed to bring the PMSM to a predetermined speed when the stator temperature is more than a threshold temperature value. The controller switches from the SC state to the FW state.
VEHICLE DRIVE UNIT
A vehicle drive unit includes an internal combustion engine (21), an electromotive unit (23) having a first electric motor (31) and a second electric motor (33), an inverter (27) disposed above the electromotive unit, a first harness (41) that electrically connects the inverter and a first terminal block (61) of the first electric motor, and a second harness (42) that electrically connects the inverter and a second terminal block (62) of the second electric motor. The first electric motor and the second electric motor are disposed in a vehicle front-rear direction. Of the first electric motor and the second electric motor, one electric motor is disposed on the front side in the front-rear direction, and the other electric motor is disposed on the rear side in the front-rear direction. The other electric motor is offset upward in the up-down direction with respect to the one electric motor. The electromotive unit has a predetermined space (A) formed: in a region above the one electric motor and in rear of the front end of the one electric motor; and in a region in front of the other motor and below the upper end of the other electric motor. The first terminal block and the second terminal block are located in the predetermined space.
NAVIGATION FOR A ROBOTIC WORKING TOOL
A robotic work tool system (200) comprising a charging station (210) and a robotic work tool (100) configured to work within a work area (205) being divided into at least one section (405), the robotic work tool comprising a controller (110) for controlling the operation of the robotic work tool (100) to cause the robotic work tool to move along a trajectory, the robotic work tool (100) being configured to determine that a section boundary is encountered, and if so change the trajectory of the robotic work tool (100) to cause the robotic work tool to remain in the section.
