MOBILE APPARATUS AND ENERGY SYSTEM
There is provided a method and apparatus for requesting a battery to be unlocked from an e-vehicle using an application for authorising a user to unlock the battery. A request is received at a cloud-based server, to unlock the battery from the micro mobility vehicle. Authorisation data is provided, by the cloud-based server, if the user making the request is permitted to unlock the battery at the e-vehicle. Further, methods and apparatus for controlling a self-serviced battery swap station by a cloud-based server are described. Battery data may be obtained from a cloud-connected battery swap station, the obtained battery data may be used to generate battery charging control data. The battery charging control data may be sent to the battery swap station.
Apparatus, method and article for a power storage device compartment
A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). To allow easy and convenient access to empty portable electrical energy storage device compartments within the vehicles, if the vehicle comes within the vicinity of a collection, charging and distribution machine or other authorized external device such as a key fob or other wireless device of a user, an empty portable electrical energy storage device compartment that is closed or locked, is unlocked, unlatched or opened automatically. Also, if the portable electrical energy storage device compartment is in another desired state to have the compartment unlocked, such as having a portable electrical energy storage device in the compartment that has a charge level below a particular threshold, the compartment will likewise be unlocked, unlatched or opened automatically.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for detection of metal objects in a predetermined space
This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for detecting foreign objects. In one aspect an apparatus for detecting a presence of an object is provided. The apparatus includes a resonant circuit having a resonant frequency. The resonant circuit includes a sense circuit including an electrically conductive structure. The apparatus further includes a coupling circuit coupled to the sense circuit. The apparatus further includes a detection circuit coupled to the sense circuit via the coupling circuit. The detection circuit is configured to detect the presence of the object in response to detecting a difference between a measured characteristic that depends on a frequency at which the resonant circuit is resonating and a corresponding characteristic that depends on the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit. The coupling circuit is configured to reduce a variation of the resonant frequency by the detection circuit in the absence of the object.
LOCKER FOR STORAGE AND ELECTRIC CHARGING OF PERSONAL MOBILITY DEVICES
A locker for storage and electric charging of personal mobility devices, which is mainly designed for electric scooters or kickscooters and folding electric bicycles. The locker is configured from a container structure, which can present variable configurations (one or more cubicles) with enough space to keep the vehicle. Each of the cubicles is equipped with an access door with a lock-opening system (preferably an intelligent electronic control lock operated by a mobile phone) and a charging system for the vehicle's battery.
Electric vehicle as power supplying system
An electric vehicle includes a power storage device, a front compartment, a power supplying port, and an external power supplying device. The power storage device is configured to feed electric power to a motor for traveling. The front compartment is provided in front of a cabin of the electric vehicle in the electric vehicle. The power supplying port is provided in the front compartment and is configured to be connected with a power supplying cable. The external power supplying device is configured to feed electric power of the power storage device to an outside of the electric vehicle from the power supplying port.
VEHICLE BATTERY SECURING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods related to securing batteries to micro-mobility transit vehicles are disclosed. For example, a micro-mobility transit vehicle may have a battery compartment and a battery compartment door having a first end and a second end. The battery compartment door may provide a floorboard surface for the micro-mobility transit vehicle where the first end of the battery compartment door is hingedly coupled to the micro-mobility transit vehicle and the second end of the battery compartment door includes at least one pair of prongs extending from the second end and at least one breakaway tab physically coupled to each pair of prongs. The battery compartment door and a battery disposed within the battery compartment may be electromechanically secured to the micro-mobility transit vehicle by engaging locking cams on the breakaway tabs.
CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
A charging station for electric vehicles having a tray assembly and a lid assembly. The tray assembly has at least one power module, a first charging control circuit, and at least one charging outlet. The lid assembly is adapted to receive at least one communication module and at least one user interface module.
Electrically operated vehicle having charging cable
The disclosure relates to an electrically operated vehicle having an electrical charging cable, by which a vehicle-side accumulator is chargeable by a vehicle-external power supply network in a charging procedure, wherein the charging cable can be unplugged from a vehicle-side terminal at least after completion of the charging procedure, in particular independently and without locking. According to the disclosure, the vehicle and/or the charging cable has a check function, which enables a charging cable usage if a usage authorization is present and blocks the charging cable usage if a usage authorization is not present.
Method and system for charging an electric bicycle from the power supply of a motor vehicle
A method for charging an electric bicycle from the power supply of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle is coupled via an electrical trailer connection and an electrical adapter to the battery of the electric bicycle. In order to provide anti-theft protection, the motor vehicle sends the battery a query signal relating to identification data of the battery via a communication channel. Subsequently, the motor vehicle listens in on the communication channel upon transmission of the identification data of the battery. For the case in which the motor vehicle receives incorrect identification data or no identification data from the battery, an alarm signal is output.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRICAL CHARGING DEVICE
A locking device for an electrical charging device of a motor vehicle, in particular an electric or hybrid vehicle. The locking device is equipped with a movable bolt element, which is provided for releasably locking a charging plug in a charging socket of the electrical charging device. In addition, the movable bolt element can be moved at least into the positions unlocked and locked. Furthermore, a motor-driven drive is realized, which is provided for moving the bolt element. According to the invention, the bolt element can be moved into a third self-locked position beyond the locked position, which can be reached by means of the drive and in which unlocking is impossible without the drive.
