A cable trough (1) has a base (2) a plurality of sidewalls (3) and open ends (5, 6) arranged for connection to the open end of another cable trough to form a cable trough system. Both open ends (5, 6) are provided with a multiway connector (25, 26). The multiway connectors (25, 26) comprise both a groove (9) to receive the tongue (11) of another cable trough and a tongue for insertion into the groove of another cable trough. Both ends are capable of connection to a male connector (16) of another cable trough, comprising a tongue, and capable of connection to a female connector (15) of another cable trough, comprising a groove.
Angularly adjustable electric power conductor grounding clamp system and associated methods
The grounding clamp system is for use with an electrically insulated pole and for attachment to an electrical conductor in angled configurations. The grounding clamp system includes a clamping mechanism having an actuatable clamp and an associated ground conductor connector. An attachment coupler is configured to attach to the electrically insulated pole, and an angular adjustment mechanism is coupled between the clamping mechanism and the attachment coupler. The adjustment mechanism is configured to provide angular adjustment between the clamping mechanism and the attachment coupler in at least one axis while also transferring force to actuate the actuatable clamp when attaching the clamping mechanism to the electrical conductor at a selected angular position. The clamping mechanism is configured to create a path to pass ground fault current from the electrical conductor to a ground conductor coupled to the ground conductor connector without including the angular adjustment mechanism in the path.
Method for the maintenance of a ground-level power supply device for a tram-like vehicle
A method is for maintenance of a ground-level power supply for a transport vehicle. The device includes: a power supply rail, a detector of spatial coordinates of a vehicle; and a power supply shoe. The device and the shoe equip the same vehicle. The supply shoe includes a vibration sensor. The method includes measuring vibrations of the shoe and simultaneously detecting spatial coordinates of the vehicle during the movement of the vehicle along the rail, followed by comparing measured vibrations of the shoe with a threshold value, and determining spatial coordinates corresponding to vibrations above the threshold value.
Method for the maintenance of a ground-level power supply device for a tram-like vehicle
A method is for maintenance of a ground-level power supply for a transport vehicle. The device includes: a power supply rail, a detector of spatial coordinates of a vehicle; and a power supply shoe. ANGULARLY ADJUSTABLE ELECTRIC POWER CONDUCTOR GROUNDING CLAMP SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
The grounding damp system is for use with an electrically insulated pole and for attachment to an electrical conductor in angled configurations. The grounding clamp system includes a damping mechanism having an actuatable damp and an associated ground conductor connector. An attachment coupler is configured to attach to the electrically insulated pole, and an angular adjustment mechanism is coupled between the clamping mechanism and the attachment coupler. The adjustment mechanism is configured to provide angular adjustment between the clamping mechanism and the attachment coupler in at least one axis while also transferring force to actuate the actuatable damp when attaching the clamping mechanism to the electrical conductor at a selected angular position. The damping mechanism is configured to create a path to pass ground fault current from the electrical conductor to a ground conductor coupled to the ground conductor connector without including the angular adjustment mechanism in the path.
Protection board mounting bracket
A cover assembly includes a support bracket from which a cover board is selectively suspended. The support bracket is itself mounted to a third rail or contact rail by a clip which cooperates with the bracket. The cover board is held in place on the bracket by an upper flange which has a tapered or V-shaped front wall, as well as a tapered bottom wall. A flag holder, which can be selectively attached to the bracket, includes a first section with an engaging member that cooperates with an engaging member located on the support bracket, a center section including a through bore for holding a flagstaff of a safety flag and a second end section. The second end section is adapted to attach the flag holder to a different type of cover board support bracket.
Protection board mounting bracket
A cover assembly includes a support bracket from which a cover board is selectively suspended. This invention relates to a portable, lightweight, non-conductive, and non-flammable hard lightweight cover that is placed over a third rail and used to protect workers from being electrocuted while working near live powered third rail system. Further, the third rail railway cover board may be highly visible and made to work in all weather conditions. Because of the simplicity of installation, no special power expert is needed to install the third rail railway cover board which will save a great deal of time and safety. The third rail railway cover board may include one or more of the following features: lightweight, non-conductive, and flame retardant; placed over high voltage third rail; weather and rain resistant; high-visibility; stackable; locking mechanism from one cover to an adjacent cover; LED light holder; contoured shape to fit all US third rail systems; and water shed design.
