POWERED CONSOLE WITH MANUAL RELEASE
A console assembly for use in a vehicle provided with a floor. The console assembly includes a guide member, coupled to the vehicle floor, a moving portion, a gearbox assembly, a transmission assembly, and a disengaging device. The gearbox assembly includes a gear configured to rotate about a rotational axis in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction to move the moving portion between a first position and a second position. The transmission assembly is configured to operate in a number of operating states, including an engaged state and a disengaged state. The disengaging device is configured to change the operating state of the transmission assembly between the engaged state and the operating state so that the moving portion is movable while the transmission assembly is in the disengaged state.
Control of a seating arrangement
A method of controlling movement of a first component of a vehicle, the first component being a squab or a bulkhead of a rear seat of a vehicle seating arrangement. The method involves receiving a signal indicative of a state of a second component of the vehicle and receiving a request to move the bulkhead so that the seat is in a folded condition. The squab of the rear seat is moved into engagement with the bulkhead of the rear seat prior to moving the bulkhead; and movement of the bulkhead is commenced in accordance with the request and in dependence on the signal indicative of the state of the second component.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING INTEGRATED CONTROL OF SEATS OF SELF-DRIVING VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to a system and method for performing integrated control of seats of a self-driving vehicle capable of performing integrated control of swivel and displacement of front seats, rear seats, and a console in the self-driving vehicle using predetermined operation modes. The system and method for performing integrated control of the seats of the self-driving vehicle are capable of smoothly controlling swivel and displacement of the front seats, the rear seats, and the console under the control of an integrated controller according to predetermined operation modes without interference based on information about the position values of motors for the forward and rearward movement, reclining, and swivel of the front seats and rear seats (information about the amount of rotation of the motors from the original positions thereof) and information about the position value of a motor for the forward and rearward movement of the console.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STATE BASED CONTROL OF ACTIVE PLATFORMS
Embodiments related to systems and methods for controlling an active vehicle seat are described. In some embodiments, the active vehicle seat is controlled based at least partly on internal sensor information, external sensor information, and operator input from a user interface.
SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM
A seat control system facilitating a vehicle may include a plurality of seats that are electrically controlled indoors to avoid interference between the seats or collision between occupants when changing a position of each seat and to adjust a moving speed and a sensitivity of a position-change seat according to the ambient circumstances of the seat so that the collision between occupants or between objects is efficiently prevented, ensuring stability.
VEHICLE SEAT BOTTOM STOPPER
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion supported on a frame. The seat cushion is removable from the frame to allow access an area beneath the seat. A handle is formed on a projecting portion of the seat cushion to facilitate grasping the seat cushion and to allow the seat cushion to be removed from the frame. A seat stopper is provided for preventing the projecting portion from contacting directly against a console or other surrounding part of the vehicle.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes: a front seat that is arranged to face rearward in a travel direction; and a rear seat that is arranged, at a rear side of the front seat, to face frontward in the travel direction. At least part of a floor below the front seat is constituted of a flat floor part. A seat portion of the front seat is capable of being flipped up such that a vehicle front side of the seat is a fulcrum point.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seat assembly comprising: a seat with: a seating portion having a front edge and a rear edge, means for connecting the seating portion to the floor of the vehicle, a backrest, rotatable relative to the seating portion about a first transverse axis, a control device comprising a detection means, comprising a signal transmitter and a receiver, and wherein the signal transmitter is configured so that the transmitted signal passes through a determined area for detecting an obstacle near the seat, the transmitter and the receiver being positioned so as to be able to detect an obstacle in the path of the seating portion and/or of the backrest when changing the position of the seating portion and/or of the backrest.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion having a seat cushion body and a seat cushion front portion, the seat cushion front portion being provided in front of the seat cushion body and configured to be in contact with and distanced from the seat cushion body, and the seat cushion being configured to be rotated so as to be set to a traveling position facing a front of a vehicle and an ingress and egress position facing a side door; and an expansion and contraction mechanism configured such that the seat cushion front portion is brought into contact with the seat cushion body as the seat cushion rotates from the traveling position to the ingress and egress position, and the seat cushion front portion is distanced away from the seat cushion body as the seat cushion rotates from the ingress and egress position to the traveling position.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly includes a seat, one or more sensor assemblies, and/or an electronic control unit that may be connected to the one or more sensor assemblies. The one or more sensor assemblies may provide information about a first position of the seat to the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit may be configured to receive a second position of the seat, and/or the electronic control unit may be configured to automatically move the seat to the second position without contacting other objects. The electronic control unit may include a second seat, and/or the electronic control unit may be configured to automatically move the second seat from a first second seat position to a second second seat position. The electronic control unit may be configured to determine a movement path of the seat according to information from the one or more sensor assemblies.
