Latch mechanism for seat assembly

A latch mechanism for a vehicle seat includes a latch, a plate and a second cam. The latch is movable between a first position in which the latch is engaged with a striker and a second position in which the latch is disengaged from the striker. The plate defines an arcuate slot. The second cam is coupled to the plate and includes a body and a protrusion extending outwardly from the body. The protrusion is received in the arcuate slot and is configured to traverse the arcuate slot when the latch is in the first position.

REAR VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE

An embodiment rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle including an underbody and an upper body coupled to the underbody includes a reinforcing member coupled to an upper surface of a rear floor panel provided on the rear side of the upper body and connected to both chassis frames of the underbody through the rear floor panel.

Vehicle Body

A vehicle body includes a floor member, a support member coupled to an upper surface of the floor member, and a frame member coupled to an upper end of the support member to define a space between the floor member and the frame member, wherein the space is configured to house an item. The item may include a high-voltage battery.

Seat crossmember and vehicle floor structure having the same

A seat crossmember includes a base facing a floor of a vehicle, a first reinforcing portion connected to a first edge of the base, wherein the first reinforcing portion has a first cavity, and a second reinforcing portion integrally connected to a second edge of the base, wherein the second reinforcing portion has a second cavity. The first cavity and the second cavity can be closed cavities. The first reinforcing portion and the second reinforcing portion can protrude upwardly from the base, and the first reinforcing portion, the second reinforcing portion, and the base can define a third cavity.

A vehicle body structure for reinforcing a pop-up seat mounting part includes a pair of rear side members engaged with a floor panel of a vehicle body, the pair of rear side members being spaced apart from each other by a spacing distance, a transverse member having a length corresponding to the spacing distance between the pair of rear side members, the transverse member being connected at opposite ends thereof to ends of upper surfaces of the pair of rear side members, and a back panel in contact with one surface of the transverse member.

VEHICLE

The technology described in the present specification is embodied in a vehicle. The vehicle includes a vehicle body, a seat, and a seat bracket. The vehicle body includes a pipe material extending in the vehicle right-left direction. The seat is provided in the vehicle body, and an occupant of the vehicle sits on the seat. The seat is fixed to the pipe material via the seat bracket. The seat bracket includes a bracket lower and a bracket upper. The bracket lower is placed below the pipe material. The bracket upper is placed above the pipe material such that the pipe material is sandwiched between the bracket upper and the bracket lower.

Tracking base assembly for aircraft seat

A tracking base assembly for an aircraft seat includes base rails mounted to floor tracks in an aircraft cabin by floor track fittings in fixed positions, the base rails connected by a tracking member for providing longitudinal tracking while minimizing added height. The base rails include tracking slots extending longitudinally, and the tracking member includes tracking elements translatable forward and backward along the tracking slots, allowing an aircraft seat mounted to the tracking member to translate forward from a retracted configuration into an extended or berthing configuration (and backward to the retracted configuration). The tracking member includes a locking mechanism for locking the tracking member and seat in intermediate positions within the tracking slots. The tracking slots may be oriented slightly downward from the horizontal to allow for gravity-assisted tracking or to counteract the nose-up flight angles associated with cruising altitude, providing for easier seat tracking.

The embodiments described and claimed herein are improved vehicle access systems. In particular, one embodiment includes three compact, motorized mechanisms for pivoting a passenger seat toward a door opening, extending the passenger seat outside the door opening, lowering the passenger seat, and tilting the passenger seat to help the passenger stand. The first mechanism concurrently pivots the passenger seat and moves it sideways during the pivoting operation so that it is aligned with the door opening. The second mechanism extends the passenger seat outside the door opening. The third mechanism lowers the seat.
