Distinct user and item delivery for autonomous vehicles
Systems and methods for controlling autonomous vehicles are provided. In one example embodiment, a computing system can obtain data indicative of a service assignment associated with an autonomous vehicle. The service assignment is indicative of a destination location to which to transport a user. The computing system can obtain data indicative of an item associated with the user that is to be transported to the destination location. The computing system can determine a first drop-off location for the user and a second drop-off location for the item based at least in part on the destination location. The first drop-off location for the user is different than the second drop-off location for the item. The computing system can cause the autonomous vehicle to initiate motion control to travel to the first drop-off location for the user and to travel to the second drop-off location for the item.
Electromagnetic seat attachment and seat power
A seat assembly, a multi-passenger vehicle, and a method for attaching seats to a floor of a vehicle that employ an electromagnetic coupling between the seats and the floor. A power supply supplies electricity to the electromagnetic coupling to secure the seats to the floor and is turned off to release the seats from the floor without tools or workers bending down below the seats to remove coupling devices. The seats can therefore be readily repositioned or rearranged to adjust the spacing between the seats. Resident induction coupling is included between the floor of the vehicle and the seats to provide wireless power to the seats.
Manual and powered actuation of track assembly
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a pivot bracket coupled to a vehicle floor and disposed at a front of a seat frame, a gear assembly and a locking disk assembly disposed around an axis of rotation defined by the pivot bracket, wherein the gear assembly and the locking disk assembly are configured to each alternatively move the seating assembly from a sitting position to a standing position, and a track assembly disposed on the vehicle floor and between opposing side brackets of a seat frame. The track assembly includes a cam assembly movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The vehicle seating assembly further includes a crank assembly extending between the pivot bracket and the cam assembly and configured to move the cam assembly from the locked position to the unlocked position.
ALIGHTING ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND METHOD
An alighting assistance device D of the present disclosure may be a device moving a driver seat rearward in a case where a determination is made that an occupant seated on the driver seat of a vehicle alights. The device may include a reclining mechanism as one example of an angle changer which changes an angle of a seat back of the driver seat with respect to a horizontal plane, a sitting height acquirer which acquires a sitting height of the occupant, and a seat controller as one example of an angle controller which controls the angle changer such that the angle of the seat back becomes closer to be perpendicular as the sitting height acquired by the sitting height acquirer is higher in the case where a determination is made that the occupant alights.
MANUAL AND POWERED ACTUATION OF TRACK ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a pivot bracket coupled to a vehicle floor and disposed at a front of a seat frame, a gear assembly and a locking disk assembly disposed around an axis of rotation defined by the pivot bracket, wherein the gear assembly and the locking disk assembly are configured to each alternatively move the seating assembly from a sitting position to a standing position, and a track assembly disposed on the vehicle floor and between opposing side brackets of a seat frame. The vehicle seating assembly further includes a crank assembly extending between the pivot bracket and the cam assembly and configured to move the cam assembly from the locked position to the unlocked position.
Methods and Apparatus for a Geometric and Driver Profiles for a Vehicle
Geometric and driving profiles are used to set the equipment of vehicles so that the vehicle is configured and performs in a manner that is familiar to a driver to increase the safety of operation of the vehicle by the driver. Geometric and driving profiles may be managed by a server. Geometric and driving profiles may be used across a fleet of vehicles.

Provided is a movable system including a movable body to be used by a plurality of users, and a server device. When the server device receives identification information of a user from the movable body, the server device acquires setting information to set the form of the movable body based on the identification information of the user and transmits it to the movable body. The movable body includes a form changing unit configured to change the outer shape or the appearance of the movable body based on the setting information thus received.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY HAVING LOWER LEG SUPPORT AND SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat and a lower leg support. The seat includes a first end and a second end. The first and second ends are opposite to one another. The lower leg support is coupled to the seat at the second end and is movable relative to the seat between a retracted position and an extended position. A suspension assembly is coupled to the lower leg support. The suspension assembly includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion. The first end of the suspension assembly is coupled to a portion of the seat. The second end of the suspension assembly is coupled proximate to a distal end of the lower leg support. A distance between an interior surface of the intermediate portion and an adjacent surface of each of the seat and the lower leg support may vary based on lower leg support position.

A valve includes a valve housing defining at least one first opening and at least one second opening, the valve housing enclosing a valve chamber. An actuator with a positioning element is configured for opening or closing the valve. Also provided are at least one air mass measuring device for measuring an air mass flowing through the valve or at least one measuring wire of an air mass measuring device for measuring an air mass flowing through the valve. Adjustment device for the longitudinal adjustment of a vehicle seat
It is provided an adjusting device for the longitudinal adjustment of a vehicle seat, comprising at least one rail for defining a longitudinal seat axis along which a seat base of the vehicle seat is adjustable, and for supporting at least one adjusting unit of the adjusting device, and at least two shiftably guided adjusting units arranged one behind the other along the longitudinal seat axis, to which the seat base is to be fixed in order to be adjustable along the longitudinal seat axis. The at least two adjusting units are adjustable relative to each other along the longitudinal seat axis, and each adjusting unit is assigned a separate drive for the power-operated adjustment along the longitudinal seat axis.
